Nice comparison Eddie! I messed with the d cinelike but just didn’t like the results, so I’ve been flying in the auto settings with pretty decent results. I’ll definitely experiment more with the manual settings too. Thanks Eddie!
D Cinelike is hard to grade for some reason. It’s not the same as D LOG where you can get it back to Rec 709 very easily.

Best video setting recommendations for indoor flights under lower lighting conditions?
For indoor I would do 30 FPS if possible, shutter at 1/60 and ISO at auto.
I agree, I always lock my settings and use a quality ND filter. The Avata camera is better than the one on the DJI FPV for sure. The more I edit the Avata footage, the more I appreciate the difference in picture quality between the two drones. I’m feeling forced to mount a GoPro to my DJI FPV at this point.

@MrEddieNunez really? Does many Korean are interest in FPV? In New York?? As I lived there also, it has quite strict restrictions to fly there isn't it?
Eddie…right there with you. AVATA camera is okay but still prefer GoPro image. So what I did is hard wire the power from the AVATA to my GoPro Bones (58grams). Works great and was pretty easy to do. 👍👍👍
I’ve been thinking about that bones. I also prefer GoPro quality over the Avata. Do you think they will release an updated version soon?
@@MrEddieNunez For some reason I feel like the GoPro10 Bones was a '1-Off' from GoPro. I haven't heard anything about a newer version coming out and I feel like it wasn't as big of a hit as I thought it was personally. Personally, I love the BONES10 and use it all the time. It just works great and with it being lighter I feel like I just get better flights out of the Avata and my other quads as well (mostly 5"). It doesn't get as much hype as I personally think it should and perhaps that's because GoPro doesn't ship the BONES Internationally (at least not the last time I checked anyway). I also have my Bones setup with the QR Codes so on launch it automatically STARTS/STOPS. I think it's the perfect camera for FPV but for some reason you don't hear much about it....I'm not sure why.

Get the go Pro mini 11 and mount it. The video is really good.
Have you tried Lee's LUT for the D-Cine on the Avata, I have been using it lately and have been happy with the results. I tend to use the ND filters only when it's very bright out, as I have seen the soft video at times as well. And when I do use an ND filter, i turn the sharpness up a little. I still haven't found 'my best' settings, and it depends on the lightning conditions as what 'best settings' to use. Great video, and thanks for sharing Eddie.

YES!! After many flights with Dcinelike and colorgrading I decided to stay with auto with ND8.... 😮
All of them are very good Eddie, and the opening sequence is WOW. What are you doing regarding smoothing out the video because the quality of smoothness is awesome. I have the Avata and love it.And last question when you flew in the park did you use the Motion controller or the Remote Controller RC2? Cheers from Australia.
Thanks Chris! I turn off stabilization and use Gyroflow in post to stabilize the video. I am using the FPV remote, not the motion controller.
It all looked great to theses old eyeballs.😅

Are you familiar with the sharpness and noise reduction settings? You did not mention those in the video. Maybe you could get rid of some of the mushiness using those settings.
Yes, usually by default its set to zero

nice comparison....you stabilized on rocksteady in 16:9 4k or 4:3 2.7k in gyroflow?
4k 4:3 and processed via gyroflow
