Hi, thank you for making this video. Around minute three it seems like there's a really big jump, and I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how you took everything out. I can't tell which screws near the color wheel need to stay intact, and it seems like the main structure is still intact no matter what I take out. Do you know what I could be missing?
That's a tough one, we did this about 2 years ago, I can't recall too much this was the first and last projector we took apart and fixed. Would this youtubers video be helpful? ruclips.net/video/sKuLnTu1o2U/видео.html
Sorry I probably should have deleted my comment. There was a screw that I missed imbedded/hidden beneath some of the parts, and I couldn't find it until I removed the side cover. Thank you for again for the awesome video! I was able to replace the lens.
my optoma hd 66, it started to give off a burning smell and a brown spot appeared on the projection. What can it be?
Yikes! Sounds like a fire hazard! I would stop using immediately and unplug it!
