too bad I sold my car last week,
Due to suspect head gasket burned.
and I have tired never ending repair hahaha.

Hello I current have a bmw 116i with the n13 engine, I have had the headgasket, valve stem oil seals done timing chain, pcv changed, but still get blue smoke after idling for a while and acceleration, could this be the turbo failing?

Thanks! The oil consumption problem was fixed by replacing the valve rubbers.

@@JaniVoutilainen than you are lucky, i had good compression and replaced also the valve stem seals. No smoke, but still 1L @ 1500-2000km. Now i drive a Alfa Stelvio, you won’t believe it but no oil usage and still no rust😂

I had a 114i. I thought they where really cheaply made. Much rather have a older reliable car than another modern cheap car being sold at a premium
