- Helping Family in a quick turn around two-stage Snow Blower Impeller Repair for a couple of my favorite people. Now I didn't charge for this one but its a great example of quick turnaround projects that will absolutely bring some money through the door. One of the things I enjoy most is welding the oddball things or the stuff that's broken and can be saved from the salvage bin. In this case, my uncle was able to purchase another snowblower impeller if needed but wanted to see if I could save this one and perhaps strengthen it up some from how the factory originally welded it together. The factory was a bit anemic with the welds and overall assembly. For the most part, it tab and slotted together.
The challenge, of course, was getting it back together so it didn't have a load of runout. We ended up with an impeller that was back together and had about twice the amount of welded up joints as the original. Time will tell how well it works out. 😉

I got word back from my uncle about a week after I finished this video. He installed the impeller, gave it a test and it ran true!
Not going to lie, given the condition the impeller was in I was shocked to hear that it actually worked. 😁

@@HouseofChop I certainly don't envy snow removal! Thankfully I live far enough south to not have to deal with it. I actually didn't notice the original Crossfire, I saw a box on the ground that looked similar to their packaging of the Pro. I'm batch 2 for the Pro, hopefully it won't be too much longer, they say they haven't been slowed down by this mess yet. Keep up the good content, your channel will take off.
