  • Unfortunately this was a harder build as my dog Polar passed away from old age right before Christmas. This is where he will rest with his brother.

Kinda sucks that it took my dog passing to find your channel but that turned out really nice. This gives me inspiration for the urn I'm going to make. Thanks man

Appreciate the comment. It’s definitely hard when they pass, but for some reason feels a little better when they’re kept with you.

I’ll unfortunately have to make another one down the road too. We have one dog left and he’s 8 with some health issues. I’m sure we have a few years left with him though. 115lb Alaskan Malamute.

I am very sorry for your loss. I also have animals and I know how painful it is, but you gave him a wonderful new home.

Thanks! I since added engraving to the lid and a burnt imagine on the front.

Vey nice build and got a great cause. May I also suggest putting a container at the back of the saw and let the pieces fall into the container rather than trying to lean over the spinning blade and delicately trying to retrieve it. It won’t take much for that to bite you! You have a new subscriber.

Yup, it only takes one little distraction and there goes a finger.

Sorry for your loss, thank for sharing this build. If I may, not judging... some of the passes you make on the saw are a bit dangerous, just me.... the unsupported vertical panel cuts remind me of a friend who had an incident doing just the same thing in the same way, no offense ....

I would definitely agree with you. I knew they were a bit sketchy when I did them. Will probably be making a clamping fixture in the future.
