I totally agree. I'm daydreaming of RF92 all the time of being there with my friends having a great time. I'm 52 now and I've started to go back to Roskilde every fucking year to keep it alive. Unfortunetaly, friends are gone and I'm nearly alone...but: go on and do what you need for life haha!

I was there with my brother ☺ The show started with a piano/vocal version of Smells like teenspirit (could have been the Tori Amos version?) But I don't remember much else from the concert other than the crowd went wild and my brother had to pull me out to prevent me from being squished 😅👍

Who did the stage lights? My god...
This appears to be around the time that performing live started to bum Kurt out. He's purposely singing in a slightly higher/clearer pitch, delivered with zero expression on his face. Nirvana was never a festival act, and I don't think Kurt liked them. But these are cleaner/tighter versions than would be heard later on. Kind of like the final few gigs in Europe in '94, where Kurt played tight & clean, but boring & bored.

The year before they played the festival circuit and it was some of the band’s best performances and it was Kurt’s favorite time in the band (summer before Nevermind was released)
