Kurt and Krist. I always sensed they really loved each other. Kurt felt safe with Krist; he was a big jovial funny guy that took Kurt under his wing, probably protected him a lot from getting the shit kicked out of him. And went him all the way to the top. It must have broken Krist’s heart when he died.
Yeah, those two were spiritual brothers.

Yes, they had a lot of affection and humour amongst each other. You can still hear it in Krist's voice, in his eyes, how much he still misses him.
