I met Kurt Cobain at one of the last Nirvana shows. It was actually the second to the last Nirvana show in Seattle. Meeting Kurt Cobain was a very special memory that I'll never forget.
I was 14 at the time and I do believe the Butthole Surfers were opening for Nirvana that night. That experience was priceless for me! It was fucking amazing! It's difficult to put into words how I felt when I met Kurt Cobain. But I'll try in this video to explain what happened at that special Nirvana Concert....and also share a few more little things you may not have known about Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love.
I mean, did you know that Courtney Love was on a Grateful Dead album cover? Does that surprise you? Probably not huh! Just watch the video!

Cy2squared a friend at CD store got Kurt's autograph in the French Quarter, New Orleans. She said he was very nice. I am so mad I missed that show! I was managing a night club and had a lot of female attention and the concert date snuck by me #regrets

Kurt was a genuine songwriter but felt he had to make excuses for the MUCH DESERVED notoriety his songs brought because he was pressured into feeling it was wrong & that's just insanity! RIP Kurt..
Yeah. Kurt was a hipster. He wanted to be just famous enough to stay cool and "alternative". If you don't want to be a rockstar, you just quit. It doesn't matter what contract you signed. No company can force music out of you. Guy was also demanding a bigger cut of the band's money. If you hate your job, and you already have all the money you'll ever need, you just quit. You don't start pressuring for a pay rise.
Kurt around this time had done the photo shoot wearing the cheerleader outfit. The pictures were in the Rolling Stone tribute book, IIRC. Probably could be found online.

The story doesn't add up. The cheerleader outfit photoshoot (with Mark Seliger) was in Kalamazoo, Michigan - not Kurt's high school.

Nirvana was on tour in Europe where he od'd in Rome. Then he went to rehab in L.A. where he escaped by jumping a fence and was dead 3 days later. "Second to last show in Seattle?" I don't think so.

At least look it up before you post. Jan 7 and Jan 8 1994 shows in Seattle with the Surfers. Last 2 shows in Seattle. Then they started the 94 Euro tour the next month

I recently looked up Courtney's Behind the Music episode here on RUclips & they said she was on the back of that album on that show. I really didn't think it looked like her. They flashed the picture up pretty quick but in all her other photos she had a very distinct look even as a child. It's amazing the BS stories she will tell & how they actually believed her 😂
One time I went to a Hole show and Courtney looked right at me in the eyes and then pulled her shirt down and gave me this smile right at me as she looked at me.

MetalMickey Kurt always seemed like the quiet, observant type, while Krist was the loud, exuberant life of the party. He and Krist played off one another in conversations a lot though.
