His debate on the Kerala education system flaws and the solutions he put forward are already available and effective in the industrialised European countries's public education system. In European countries, not everyone would opt for university degrees for the same reason. In the West, parents would invest in their children's academic education up to the age of 18. If a child wants to have a higher education after the age of 18 is her/his duty to find the money to pay(education taxes, room rent, food, transportation etc.) for the education, which means she/he has to find a part-time job, in order to complete studies.
