Well you just saved me a lot of money and which bought me some time! I was 100% sure even with those adapters, you had to size the driveshafts. I was preparing to buy adapters and measure and send everything off to a driveshaft shop.
I dont know if coupe is different length than hatch/sedan, but it was a direct fit on mine.

Finding space to have the driveshaft, the viscous coupler, and a full exhaust in the tunnel is tough. I've been thinking about relocating the viscous coupler all the way to the back- just in front of the rear diff, where the fuel tank used to be, and running a super long front driveshaft in order to make room for an exhaust, maybe using oval tubing 🤔

Lmao! Just got mine officially AWD today as well. I was waiting for front axles. Bought my adapter parts from your site. I am so ticked, and ready to drive it. Sadly still have a list to complete.
Building my eg 4 door budget as well. Have a whopping $1800 in the entire build so far. Purchased a wrecked element for $700, and my civic I bought 6 years ago for $800. Do all my own fabrication. Also live in FL.

Are you using the element drive shaft on your build?
@@alitoroganan2442 yes! For now. Stock drive shaft bolted up perfectly, with no modifications. Length was perfect! 94) eg civic 4 door, 06 element. Plan to upgrade down the road to a viscous coupler, but bone stock components atm.

Off topic but do you know of any manual steering rack that fits RD1? I've been driving mine with the belt off and the little bump in mid range power and throttle response is worth the trade off to me. Maybe an Integra rack frankensteined in? Manual racks have higher gearing to turn easier if I understand it correctly.
I don't know of any that are plug and play

I'm not sure on that one. Often you can get boosters at the auto parts store.
I have a 99 Honda CRV 2.0 and I'm replacing the whole drive shaft do I need to put gaskets or do I need to get gaskets for each end of the drive shaft ornot

I hope you used something more than rivnuts to secure that viscous coupler. That driveshaft will break and you'll find out.
It’s only to support the weight of the VC so it doesn’t sag down

Will the adapters and stock freelander driver shafts work for a ek coupe b series AWD?
Like is it a direct swap in like yours all I got to do is mount the viscous?
Adapters will work but I don't know about the length of the driveshaft
