Great video. I enjoy the AWD info as I hope to convert one next year. I would like to see what you do for an exhaust, is it possible to fit it in the tunnel as well, or what would be necessary for a daily driver?….ie. maybe widen the tunnel?

I'm probably going to use some oval exhaust to go beneath the viscous

@@hondaresource a fun street car, not a drag, but more of a road racing kinda setup. Civic would be ideal, but there is a lot going for crv. It's basically all there. I'm looking at 2nd gen with k series, awd, there is no need to deal with any of the conversion issues, it's all there. Just lower, improve suspension and throw turbo or sc on that thing. Plus, having a utility of a wagon is a bonus too.

  • @xjt9787

I am going to be K-swapping my EK next year and I want to go AWD soon after that. I will use a transmission and a diff out of a crv due to those being pretty cheap where I live (Finland). I found a driveshaft out of a 1st gen 2.0 td4 freelander. Do you happen to know if I have to modify the driveshaft or will it be close to the correct length as it is? Also want to say that I have really been enjoying your content and learning a lot so thanks for the great content! I will definitely use your video as a guideline to make my own AWD trailing arms.

hi Greetings,,, your channel is awesome, I live in Germany and unfortunately there are only a few people here who appreciate cars as cool as Honda,,,, that's why my question to you, you seem to be a real expert, I have a Honda Bought crv rd1 with 2.0 147 hp engine,,, with 218,000 km you meant that with appropriate care it would last a long time. I read a few things that these engines last up to 500,000 miles,,,, thanks for your great videos, I love Honda😊

@@hondaresource Yeah you're right Minton and another guy are selling the pigtails for like 85$+. Not paying that lol! I'm a tech too and I see no reason to not do this. Going to add a rubber hose that is a little more than length of the door travel. Razor blade it long ways. Stuff the wires inside. Zip tie either end. Check and test. See what happens! Great video thanks!
