One’s much better lookin’, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts right? Robert (aka @Static_Livin) brought his Viper, freshly painted in candy blue and sporting the second gen engine singing through a sweet Borla exhaust. Mike's Civic may SEEM clapped out, and yeah it kinda is but all that’s to hide a K24 engine with a BEEFY supercharger pushing 14 pounds a’ boost. Which one’s gonna put more power down on the tarmac? Gentlemen, start your engines.

Thanks for having me on the show! Turns out the diff we installed the night before was crv ramping diff so it applies traction as it needs it 🤷♂️ awesome racing the viper ive loved those cars since a kid..im glad I was able to get 1 good close race out of it 👍
The civic is the quicker car by far. The Viper’s driver made something happen using pure skill. Respect.

Barely beat a factory bone stock Viper and took 4 races to do it without the hit lol… not impressed.

@@speedracerjeff Now you’re talking! We don’t need a magic 8-ball to predict that outcome: the cylinder heads will be ‘what’s up’ because they’ll lift……. even at low boost pressure. Or so it has been documented. I don’t have Viper money I’m willing to part with.

That last race 4th gear shift was nasty!! Civic damn near jumped the front wheels off of the ground.
pretty sure the viper let off to shift and screwed up.. you can hear it. What your seeing is one car slowing down while the other is car speeding up, making it look faster than it really is..

The Viper has been legendary since day one. The fact that it ever got past the Chrysler bean counters and made it to production, let alone lasted more than 20 years gives it a special place in automotive history. And Honda sold a lot of Civics.

For the guy with the Honda, the RSX has some cloth buckets that were really nice. I went full sleeper spec with my last two Hondas... and it is an absolute riot on the street.

I had an ej with a b20v swap and the seats I went with were the EP3 seats super comfortable bucket seats

Viper killed it even with all the doubt. Love both but Viper all day. Third race looks like the Viper let off thinking it was over from the way the Civic took a huge leap out of no where.
nah the gears are just long as hell in the viper which is why it falls off so hard at the top of the track.

This Honda is the purest sleeper ever, only way to make it more sleeper is keeping the interior straight stock. Some of the hoonigan boys are guilty of calling cars with parachutes and beadlocks "sleepers". Ain't nothing subtle about that. But this car is true to the sleeper build

The diff I swapped out the night before was a stock ramping diff so it was really weird to launch thay with a viscous cupler made it extra slippy

Finally, a diver out matches their energy with how hard he is willing to go. It was an LS BMW drift car and he ripped his bumper off and didn't give a f. The energy in that video was insane. Maybe one of my fav yt videos of all time.
