  • Just over 50,000 miles on my 2004 f350 12 valve Cummins swapped Ford.
    This truck is by far the best truck I’ve ever owned in every way possible. Extremely reliable, and easy to drive, I would definitely build another if I ever got the chance. I will never own another truck besides a Cummins swapped ford!

    Another great video! After watching your videos and the way you explained the SCT tuner I bought a used SCT X4. I have been playing around with it and I love the way my 5r110 shifts now. I have about 40,000 miles on my swap and it was ok before but much better now. I have not towed with it sense I got the x4 but I think it will be good. I appreciate you and others that take the time to share their knowledge.

    I did a 2008 F450 with a 12v, it worked great.
    But what i noticed is you need a GOOD THROTTLE LINKAGE... Mines a industrial rngine so it didnt have a regular pickup style setup. That messed with the shift points if my 5r110w...
    I will 100% get rid of the trash fan clutch/pully.... Gonna convert it to a 7.3 Powerstroke clutch, witch gives a better style plastic fan (bigger too)
    I had issues here and there, but ALL were from the cummins side of things, just parts that broke or failed. The engine has 6,000km on it from favtory... But i needed to convert it to a pickup style, and used rockauto parts lmao... They alsmost all failed on me

      Unbiased Opinion oh no doubt it would be better. I have it tuned to lock the torque converter in first gear so once I get to 10 mph it locks and then it shifts like a manual and it’s awesome. With a manual I would basically split the first gear I have now.

    • @thefumminspagerpope4452
      @thefumminspagerpope4452  3 года назад

      Joshua Hernandez I actually really liked the 6.0 after it was tuned. When it was stock it was a total dog and didn’t pull worth a damn. After it was tuned it pulled really good but still not comparable Because of the way the 6.0 puts down power. The 6.0 needs to be above 2500 rpm to have any towing power and that is just hard on everything. My cummins will stay in 5th locked the entire time towing and never care about rpm which makes it so much better for what I’m doing.
