The Dacians were made up of several tribes, they mixed with the Moisos, the Thracians, and later they became part of three types of Celts, then Illyrians, Bastarnas, and in the Carpathian basin, the Anartoi, Cotinoi, Teuriskoi and Scythian tribes. Transylvania was completely evacuated by the Romans in the 3rd century . Transylvania again settled after that but without Dacians! The rest of Hungary has not been emptied, most of the population has lived here since prehistoric times. This is also confirmed by genetic tests. The Hungarians are much more the ancestors of the Dacians, Scythians, and all kinds of peoples. The Hungarians got their name from the people who appeared in the 9th century, who were made up of 7 + 1 tribes. and in this area a new country was created with the population living there until then. From here on, we call the population Hungarians. After the devastating attack of the Tatars, the Hungarians gave the settled Kuns land in the part below Transylvania to settle a new population there. The Kuns were invited to Hungary because the population decreased due to the Tatars, and to participate in the military defense of Hungarians! This is how the predecessor of Romania was created by Hungarians the Vallachia! They settled Vallachia, the area below Transylvania, with the Romanians in the 13th century. They were subordinates of the Hungarians, they paid taxes to the Hungarians and helped defend the Hungarians against the attackers, e.g. against the Tatars. Then they started to seep further north into Transylvania, while there were no Romanians in Transylvania before that! In the 15th century, the Turks attacked Hungary, and this helped even more Romanians immigrate from the Vallachia even further north, to Transylvania. While we Hungarians were fighting, they had such a good time that they multiplied! In the 18th century, they invented that Transylvania belonged to them and that they were the descendants of Transylvanian Dacians, which is a lie! Since then, they have been committing crimes against Hungarians! Here, in a Hungarian military cemetery in Transylvania, crosses are being forcibly erected for their non-existent Romanian soldier ancestors! about vampires,and all that dracula stuff,we don't actually have anything related to that until the subject became famous,and the book was written and the movie was out.but we do have a bunch of stories about wolves and dragons.

about no 8,my grandma told me a story once with a small forest nearby where i lived,that sadly i never got the chance to visit,that was supposed to be haunted,and everytime you was going deeper in the woods,you would find yourself very far away,or you was getting the feeling that even if you go in a straight line,you would go in an infinite circle.maybe someday i will have the chance to go for that experience,cause i left Romania like 25 years ago,i was still a kid at that time.i would definetly go for that forest and try to see if any of my grandma's stories are true.
I live like 8-10 mins away from the Hoia forest and I can tell you that apart from that place where nothing grows there, all other phenomenons are just silly myths.

Ghosts do exist and I believe in them. After my sister in law died I was home alone and getting ready to go out, note that that the windows were closed so no possibility of any air to bring things down, I have a toy jester that is sitting on a shelf on my library with no possibility to slip off and as I turn to that direction the jester flies off the shelf right in front of me as if it was pulled off the shelf and that is just one of my ghost stories.

Actually about "the devil's precipice" story, in some forests of romania people have found dacian time treasures, and they say that they are cursed. You can learn more if you search about the dacian gold.....

My mom said she encounted one when she was young. Long story.
At the Devil's Precipice a group of priests tried to exorcize the spirits and all of them was found insane and is also said to if someone will sleep there will see in his dream instructions how to find the treasure. That place is also very known for car accidents what are not always sever but happen with everyone who drive too close even if you are an expert in driving.
The bell of the church from Geamana some times can still be heared loud and clear. Speaking about holy places, the monestary from number five have also a myth to those who try to find the bell will be taken to straight to Hell and are gone forever.

I was working in a house in a room with a sliding door. It was a dark winter morning & I noticed it getting darker, I looked at the lightbulb as it got dimmer then looked behind to see the dimmer switch actually turning. I was thinking about what happened when long shadowy fingers came stretching along the wall through the gap between the wall & the door. I know five other people that experienced more or less the exact same thing going back several decades. Ghost, Bogeyman, Vampire, Shadow Demon whatever you want to call it, it's real. I saw a shadow fleeting passed my bedroom door once too, very fast. I've seen white wispy figure's like smoke & sometimes brown dusty figure's moving around occasionally too. I also saw a full bodied apparition of an old lady in an apron emptying a basin in Ireland by a derelict house. She appeared & vanished not five feet away from us. I saw a full bodied ghost of a man who hid behind a tree no more than twenty feet away when I noticed him in Yorkshire on a snowy day near a derelict farm in a quiet woodland. He was wearing Beatle boots, long hair & an Italian leather burgundy coat. He left no footprint in the snow. I saw my Mother one time too, seven years after she died. But that time it was as if I'd half entered the spirit world. She was wearing flowing yellow robes. She looked concerned. Al these things haunt my life. Especially at night I sit wondering about it.

Why the fck did i read this ? Because i am stupid and had to feel fear again i think.
Had 3 freaky things happening to me in my lifetime. One real bad was when i arrived home from highschool. I was on the toilet and i heard a verry hard slam and glass breaking. I opened the door i saw 2 meters in the hallway the fridge door open all the way and 1 bottle broken and a milk bottle on the floor. I was thinking that the fridge somehow built pressure.. i was thinking that the freon gas leaked and caused that. Got the fridge unplugged closed its door. In the next second the living door open all the way up slowly. Like 5 second to fully open. No windows were open, the doors are plum so they dont close or open by themself. Next thing i did walked out of the house barefoot and w8 2 hours for my dad to come home. When he came he looked in the house, closed the door and w8 for my mom :|
@@zipperc1210 Well you wrote that to me today after only this morning a 1917 bugle I had sitting on the floor by my book shelf took off & bounced off the bed back on the floor right in front of me. It's not a good feeling knowing that you might never be alone.
