I personally see these bad stereotypes against Romanians as a good thing, in this way, Romania preserves its values, faith and tradition. A war started on the territory of Romania in 540 BC and ended in 1944. We are hardened like a diamond, we are immune to Racism, Discrimination and what other crap Westerners talk about us. In fact, the real name of gipsies is "sinti". And does exist a village in Romania named "Sintești", with many gipsies. The name "roms" is stolen by them from the old inhabitants of Byzantine Empire, who were called "romei". If their real name were to be roms, or romani, this means that the Rome, or Roman Empire was the empire of gipsies.
People think negatively about Romania 🇷🇴 because they associate the country with the early 80s communist era the iron curtain. Trust me Romania is more safe than any western country. Facts I am not even Romanian myself but I give credit where credit is needed. Period

The thing is, when you want to keep your country in a good view for the world, you speak bad about other countries. Actually index shows that the rate crime in Romania is 23, 84 procents, compare this with England wich has 43, 62 procents. We had a lot of dificulties in the past but a lot were sorted out. Go in Paris, i've been there , during the day it was a bay of pigs on the streets. Westerns always shows what is bad in east to keep people's eyes on the other way, it's quite economy in the middle, if your country looks bad on tv, you will not have visitors......so you show what is bad in other country to keep your country breathing. That's the way it is. Im not saying that is brilliant in Romania ,not every man is educated to the max....like in any other country..... but anyhow i assure you that is safer more then is in any other western country. It's a fact !

But romanians, in general, are NOT rassists. În Romania live many minorities from hundreds years ago. It's true that a type of gypsies make some problems in whole Europe, because of poverty. It's true that there is a gypsies Mafia în whole Europe, but gypsies not just from Romania.
