- As we come to the end of this trying year, we look back at what was accomplished and give you a taste of what is to come in 2021.
Our Christmas Sale 2020 has started and will run until the 11th of January.

i would recommend the f15 to starters it great and its easy to learn, the only thing i say is hard for starters is understanding the radar
press the link, learn the tf 51 or su 25t and then buy/get whatever your favorite plane is, if it is in DCS of course.

It's a very nice trailer but looking at actual gameplay it's still a bit buggier then expected. Whole wings and tails just suddenly disappear when shot off.

I'm not going to lie. Seeing the videos of that CloudTech actually brought a small tear to my eye.
Like many of the people here, I always wanted to be a fighter pilot ever since I was a little kid. Unfortunately, due to physical limitations, I was unable to do so. And being from a family full of people who served in the military, it really hit me.
For someone who will never be able to have the experience of watching the sunset from the cockpit of an F-15 at 40,000ft, the fact that Eagle Dynamics has managed to create a way for myself and others like me to at least sort of experience that is absolutely incredible.
Please never stop creating, Eagle Dynamics.
get your PPL and experience them from 10k. You'll have days where the tops are only at like 5k :P

But, the Hind is the machine that got me into aviation big time, as I was born near a helicopter mil base, so I used to see them both on display and flying reguralry, for first 9 years of my life :)

Me too. I was almost like "Hey...! We don't even have the Hind yet, give us a minute to appreciate it!"
But ultimately the more the merrier, and we do need a blue gunship unless we want to identify them by paint job.
Hopefully there'll still be enough of a gap between them for everyone to properly enjoy the Hind for a while first, AND for everyone who wants to to save up some money in their DCS jar to get both.
Everyone is such a sucker, gimme AH-54 Cheyenne so I can watch the Air Force cry all over again about how good it is.

Seriously though, this looks stunning, and the creators definitely deserve an Oscar or something.
MSFS has cutting edge volumetric clouds actually, but it's great to see a combat sim getting them too. In fact watching the video makes me realize how much I've been missing those in a fighter jet.

Yeah I saw it and ask myself when they added these cool Clouds - and then I read 2021. I‘ll hope they can increase Performance in VR and add these clouds soon. Even with my 5900x and RTX 3090 I have a stuttery frame every two seconds... :(
@@havok2 i have a 2060 and an I7-8700k and get 40-50 fps with a valve index. It is all in the CPU. The game can't really multithread that well, so having a CPU with a few strong cores is the secret.
@@Kozak806 well I dunno what to tell you. Maybe DCS just works better with Intel chips or something to do with the CPU architecture and DCS's old engine disagree. Then again, could just be your settings being too high.
@@havok2 I have a Amd 3600 cpu and only a 1070 running a reverb g2 at 4k without stutters. Stuttering is a common problem in DCS that can be caused by multiple things like drive speed, its probably nothing todo with your cpu and gfx card

Hey, There 3 years ago, I made a mistake, I clicked on download DCS World, And that was just a happy accident, As an aviation enthusiast, all my life, take it from a kid that looked at planes in the starry sky, hoping to feel the sun bounce the cockpit instruments. You help me go there, with scavenging the highest system i could afford, playing at 12-20 FPS, from getting frustrated at the frequent crashes, I have been there, witnessing it all, seeing it unfold in front of my eyes. Still Mouse flying, gathering money to get hands on a joystick, reading manuals and looking on the net before every flight, but i swear, I cherish all these hundreds of hours of flying, I cherish moments of Pain and moments of frustration. Thank You DCS, for helping that 15 year old try and live a part of his dream, making him yet closer to reality, Thanks Man.
Let's not forget Thomas Bergersen who is making the music. It makes the epicness break the scale!

Those clouds are absolutely amazing. Hell, I'd say they even edge out the MFS clouds in terms of how natural it looks. Some of the scenes looked straight up real.

I just watched the "2024 and Beyond" video and saw talk about which one is the best. So I watched them all.
They're all cool but I think this one, "2021 And Beyond" is hands down the best in my opinion.
From the music to the reveal. Best reveal. The way the drums tied in with the rotor blade speeding up sound. Superb.
Only critique I have is that the talking is best done at the start and out of the way. So there is no interruption between the hype of the music and epic ending to the wow factor of the reveal.

I agree. They crushed the speech, ambience music, and our love for what they do for us. This is one major reason I buy everything they release. No matter how much more I fly the Navy aircraft. They have given me what I was not medically capable of doing in real life, flying an F-14/18

I work in the gaming industry. It has done very well this year, not in spite of COVID, but because of it. I think a lot of the industry feels 1) very fortunate when so many are struggling, 2) grateful to the customer base for making #1 possible, and 3) kind of sheepish about talking about it very much. It would be in poor form to gloat about sales. I think you can hear some of that in the voiceover of this video.

Probably the best ‘and Beyond’ trailer ever. Music was perfect and well matched with in game footage with a smooth build up then an exciting finale before the interlude by Nick.

For me, as for many, many others, this year sucked so hard. Many bad things happend. But the day, hell, for me the damn month is saved when I experience on of your trailers. My PC sucks even more as 2020... maybe, so I'm a big fan of this game, its players and fan base, even if I don't play it for myself.
