This is my home park, but I've been on several hypers and this is the best one I've been on. Only Iron Gwazi or Velocicoaster can take best coaster in FL away from Mako.

I rode this last night at Howl O Scream. I'm sorry, the POV doesn't do it justice at all. This ride is INTENSE!!

This ride doesn't feel very secure. Especially at the parts where it goes zero gravity but it's still my favorite ride.
That's how I felt, scared me to death but was super fun.

Took my 9 year old on it yesterday, his first real roller coaster. He loved it, I must be getting old cuz I screamed all the way round, 55 year old male. Mind blowing ride, the video does not do it justice
Well done that kid. That’s how to enjoy the majestic ride that is “Mako”. Laughter will always trump the incessant, unnecessary screaming that often accompanies videos like this. 👏
I screamed like a baby and I didn't care. It was my first roller coaster in YEARS.... I'm used to the coasters from Universal. this ride literally kicked my ass.

My 1st ever real coaster and I thought it was pretty small and short but I didn’t see the full ride and was left screaming still the best ride I’ve ridin
Wow! You didn't even break yourself in with Kraken first, I'm impressed. I haven't been on the Mako or Manta because they weren't finished building the next one yet. You should still try Kraken if you get the chance it's pretty awesome.

I was with my daughter over in the kids part of the park and saw mako off in the distance. I said to myself "oh that dosent look so bad" from the first drop I said oh s*** what did you get yourself into 😆

That kid talking about Fahrenheit while Mako is going up its lift hill... Hersheypark is my former home park. I love Fahrenheit. It's on my top 5 at Hersheypark. I live in Orlando and SeaWorld is the closest park from where I live.
Awesome coaster. Rode it twice the other night. First in the middle and then in front row. Let's just say that my face in the photos is very different between the two haha.
Let's just say, I was traumatised yet happy after the ride was done. One of the most intense rides I've been on and I'm a big coaster fan!
Having only been on Kraken because the other 2 weren't built yet when I was there and my gf encouraged me to try to overcome my fear of heights I ended up riding Kraken 4 times, only had one internal anxiety attack on the 2nd ride, slow climb up I was on the left side seat and looked down my left side to the concrete below but caught my breath as we went over the twisting top. None of the inversions or drops, g-forces, speed or corkscrews bothered me although I was pretty much hanging on for dear life it felt. I see this one looks quite a bit higher in the vids or from current Kraken videos you see it and it's huge. Not sure I can do this one next time I'm there, we'll see.
My 15yo son and I Just went on this ride in spring 2021. I have not been on a coaster 25 years and DAMN!!! Sucked the oxygen out of lungs on that 1st drop. Was really fun though. Son had to change shorts and screaming like a sissy the whole time - 😂 😂

Kraken is awesome, the other 2 weren't there when I was there, one was under construction. With my fear of heights I'm not too sure I'd like this one, it's mainly the slow climb up that can terrify me. I also don't like the nothing over the shoulders thing or the restraint system in this coaster. Looks a good bit taller than Kraken too, definitely awesome but next time I'm there I'll have to really get my nerve up to go on this one !

This is one of the best coasters. The coolest thing is the air time . . . you literally come out of your seat for 5-8 seconds at a time. Check out the shadows at 2:27 and you will see. Front seat is a must!

a Very good ride
this ride had traumatized the shit out of me when i went to seaworld last week. i thought i was gonna fall out the seat and had a death grip on my family friend and the bar that keeps you strapped. I literally was wobbling the second I got off the coaster.🤚
It looks terrifying with that lap bar, Kraken is good enough for me.

At the startup I was crying because I was afraid of roller Coaster heights and my mom made me do it because she knew i would love it
But when the music came 1:17
I got the chills and started panicking thinking I'm actually doing this going to the sky and down the drop 1:48 I am OMG THIS IS AMAZING 😃😃 I DID IT YES

I got on the kracken and mako and those drops scare me idk how I didn’t have a panic attack on it
I had one internal panic attack on the 2nd of four rides (my first real coaster other than a pretty low in height Cowboy Mountain or whatever at Disney) .
I have a fear of heights and on the 2nd ride I was in the left side seat and on the slow climb up I looked over my left and down to the concrete, lost my breath and caught it again as soon as we went over the twisting drop.
All the rest of it was awesome at speed but the travel up is the worst for me. This one looks taller no doubt and the restraint system is scary compared to shoulder type in Kraken. Props to you for going on it, those Kraken rides I took with my gf's encouragement sadly didn't cure my fear of heights but I remember them as awesome, maybe if I'm there again I'll try it 😰

Loose lap bar makes it even more fun, with every hill your entire body comes out of the seat a bit!
Any restraint is extremely safe u have a 1 in 16,000,000 chance of getting hurt and a 1 in 300,000,000 chance of dying thats how safe it is
I agree 100% Kraken has been my only real rollercoaster so far (4 times one day) the others weren't built yet when I was there luckily, these lap bars are scary on a zero G inverted loop a mile up in the sky. Shoulder bars and I'd definitely ride it. Think I'll try Manta instead.

I mean if your scared of certain types of rides than All the coasters at Seaworld besides SGBCD (Shamu Express) than the 3 Manta, Kraken, and Mako is not for you especially if your scared of heights

Everyone - Everywhere should boycott SW for it's mistreatment of Animals and Employees. Absolutely ZERO communication from the company to the employees (during COVID closing), job postings open while people are at home furloughed and then we get a mailed update of new procedures for employees-the same day the local news lets us know we've been laid off, not even the company itself. Yeah real great company. They will probably try to cut my severance pay or something else for even posting this.
