Bless her heart. My own mom had a similar reaction to expedition Everest at the animal kingdom park but reacted just fine on Rock N Rollercoaster, starring aerosmith which to me is more intense. I've never ridden this coaster but it looks fun.
My mom was traumatized by Expedition Everest. I thought that it would be no big deal for her because she'd done some of the entry-level thrill coasters at SFMM like Revolution.
@@toddjones1480 I can totally understand that. If you don't like heights then something like Expedition Everest makes you feel like you're going up really high and are really exposed. The hill climbs are horrendous for me. I absolutely love Rock'n rollercoaster though. The heights are not obvious to you as a rider because it's inside in the dark. A boosted launch is always a plus for me too so that you're straight into the fun without that terrible chain hill to start off with.
This is a great coaster. So smooth and so much airtime and ejections. Not as fast or intense as velocicoaster at universal, but the 2nd best coaster in Orlando no doubt!!
I just rode mako a couple days ago and the picture of my face on the first drop was hillarious. A few years ago i nearly made the fatal mistake of not pulling the lap bar down tight and i rode it in pitch dark during xmas lights. I nearly flew out of the coaster on every hill. Only thing that kept me in was me. Most scared i have ever been and i used to race motocross. Now when i ride it i have the guy that checks my lap bar to help me make it go one mpre click tighter. This coaster is intense for sure. .
I had the same experience. I’m a Passholder. I hadn’t rode a coaster in years. I rode and I swear I thought I was going to dye!! I’m a a trauma nurse and I knew I was coming out. I didn’t ride it for years. I’d always ride manta and kraken and avoid mako. Well I tried it again and I had the guy “staple” me in the seat and it was a much better experience!! No more flying out of my seat 90% of the ride!

We lost their mommy to cancer last year sadly so I'm trying to make her smile in heaven knowing daddy's making the best of this mess. I rode kraken last week that I feel secure in so it's not bad. Manta I hate the hanging by a chest harness lol

You should be spending your time out there CONQUERING your fear of rollercoasters and joining the ranks of us enthusiasts instead of riding them through a RUclips window. Only by overcoming your fear will you realize that you've been missing out. What I suggest is you coming dowm to Busch Gardens Tampa and riding Iron Gwazi..Trust me, it would be the PERFECT coaster to forever vanquish your fears, and will be the best thing to happen to you all day...
The internet is just so awesome. Poor woman's fear & embarrassment is available for all the world to see, 24/7, for the rest of man's go here on Earth.
@@Captain_Crayzay Ah OK, the park has other coasters with inversions. Coasters like this don't really need inversions. They're more about big drops, high speeds and sustained airtime 🙂
@@XtremeCoastersAnd THAT'S why coasters of this design are far superior to the ones relying on multiple inversions for intensity...And I have no aversions to inversions, but I really feel that high speeds and ejector air time are the real measures of coaster's intensity....But that's just me and I could be wrong......Rocky Mountain Construction are building the world's most intense rollercoasters. If you don't agree - you're wrong. Cheers everyone, and happy coastering....
