In RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, all B&M's look so dirty, I always hated RCT 3 for that!

The heat and humidity in Florida combined with the constant friction all take a toll on paint jobs

This is an awesome coaster, the speed and loops are extremely similar to the Hulk coaster at Universal IOA.
Man I wish there were no lines like this when I go. You can just walk onto the ride and go multiple times without annoying waits where the line moves up 3 feet every 5 mins

I remember riding this 15 years ago. Probably what fueled my love of coasters
The Racer at Kings Island was my first coaster and still an all time fave, but I've ridden The Kraken probably more than any other coaster. I've only been to SeaWorld once the year The Kraken opened but it was during October, so there was almost no guest. I rode the Kraken over and over again. It is the smoothest roller coaster I have ever been on. I love it, but based on this video it definitely needs some paint and TLC.

Rode this like 10 times in a row one vacation to Orlando because it was close to closing in the park and there wasn’t a line for like the last 30 minutes so me and my family just kept going straight through the line again every time we got off lol. Definitely a good roller coaster to ease someone into “bigger rides”, it’s tall and the first drop gives you butterflies but after that it’s super fun
When you get off, just look for open seats and then you don’t even have to leave the station, I did that today and got to stay on again on Mako, I also did this at Six Flags Great America in Illinois and I got to stay on the Viper roller coaster like 40 times and I stayed on it until they closed, also I didn’t eat anything at all that day and I was so tired, also a few days ago I went to chipotle and I rode my electric scooter there and I got frost bite on my thumb for a few days because it was so cold and then I almost passed out and I had to lay on the gross wet floor and everything sounded really quite and looked so weird and I turned all pale. It was so weird and I recorded a video of everything to watch later. Also I was at sea world today and Kraken broke down and they said they had to wait for mantainence to come fix it and I was like 😵💫 because the day before that, we had to wait 3 hours because our flight was delayed because aparently the cargo door of the plain was frozen open and had ice all over it and it took 3 hours because we had to wait for Matainence to check everything
Underrated coaster
I first rode this when I was 9 years old. I also rode Manta that day too. Im now 12 and every time we go to Florida I always ride all the rides at sea world Orlando
My first Rollercoaster i went on and I was 10. It was so scary! Now I love rollercoasters!

I went last summer and I closed my eyes the whole time -_- but it was a good feeling. It was crazy for it being my first ever upside down ride
Going next weekend, so excited to ride this and Mako!
Just went 2 days ago. Great ride! Mako’s the best hyper I’ve been on but the star of the show IMO is Manta. There’s something incredible about flying coasters.
I also rode the mako it's the best roller coaster iv been on (๑•﹏•)

2:08 You can definitely hear the rattle very prominently. But I'm guessing that's because of the weight of the train being so light without people.

This ride feels like an upgraded version of kumba. Same seats, track color and ride style only much more open and thrilling. It’s also floorless. I got on it two times when I visited. I would say it’s #1 best at sea world then manta #2 and mako #3

I went on this when I was 9 years old and I was just a little higher than the height limit. It was the first time I went on a upside down twist rollercoaster so I was freaked out. Right before the ride was gonna start you were allowed to leave if you wish and I was screaming “ I wanna get off “ with some tears coming down my face. My parents wouldn’t let me out so I had to go on the ride.After we went off the ride my head couldn’t move and my head was bent on my shoulder it would hurt if I tried to lift it straight. I couldn’t really do any rides or anything I still did the Journey to Atlantis and some stuff but I couldn’t see the shows.After that I never rode that thing again.
Really? Was it caused by the ride or a pre existing medical condition? One time i woke up in the morning and my neck was bent forward all night and it hurt so bad when I woke up that I couldn’t look to the right at all for like the whole day and it got better but it was soar for like 5 days
@@DARK_AMBIGUOUS I think it was the ride. I was just the right hight at the time so that might have been it or it was because I had never experienced upside down / twist rollercoasters so I didn’t know how to sit correctly
I remember this was my first rollercoaster in a long long time, I remember sitting down in the front seat (my friend was on his hands and knees begging me to go on the ride) and after the first big drop that shit gave me fucking PTSD. We plan to go to Busch gardens this year

I go to Seaworld very often all the time and I’m scared to go on this ride and manta but I love all the others
I have a fear of heights and my gf encouraged me to go on it. It was awesome but on the second ride (wasn't too busy) I was in the seat on the left instead of the middle and I looked down at the concrete from way high up on the slow climb. I had an internal panic attack where I lost my breath but regained it when we went over the top. I enjoyed the drop and all of it. I rode it two more times in the evening dark and I was fine but I still have a fear of heights the slow high climb, other than that once it's going I don't care how high we go in loops. I'd recommend you do enjoy Kraken it's awesome, it sounds like you went on Mako which wasn't built when I was there and I've seen a video of Mako which looks more scary than Kraken imo.

@@karina5445 The one you were on is far more scary, Kraken just keeps you twisting and turning in fairly rapid motion. I have a fear of heights and Kraken for it's day was the highest in FL but not for long.
It's really great and isn't as high as the others. I highly recommend it, it's a great rush with the floorless setup. I get it though, I'm afraid of Mako but not Manta next time I go back asap
Honestly If you can do Mako, you can do both Kraken and Manta. Surprisingly, manta is very smooth and your stomach never really feels it at all. Feels like you’re just flying. And kraken is just fast. Again, barely any affect on the stomach at all. Just very fast
@@christiandelahoz2326 I've been hearing Manta is safer feeling and a bit slower than Kraken which I loved. I never got to try Mako but with just the lap bar on those huge inversions I'd die of a stroke or something!
I'll do Manta next time for sure and a revisit to The Kraken. Fear of heights makes Mako too scary for me, not if it had shoulder restraints though I don't like lap bars.

Just went two days ago, solid ride if not a little rough. It could definitely do with some TLC, but it still holds up well!
It’s weird this coaster is a classic and doesn’t have the roaring sounds when it rolls on the tracks.
Best ride at SeaWorld Orlando! My overall thoughts about SeaWorld Orlando during my visit about a month ago I wasn't really impressed and would no go back to that park!
When I was there Kraken was the only coaster, either Mako or Manta were under construction. I really enjoyed Kraken, did you ride the other two, I thought from the videos I've seen that they look even better ? But otherwise SeaWorld isn't very exciting now I got soaked by the killer whale I just feel like its cruelty to have them in captivity.
@@vapemcvaperson I rode both Mako and Manta! I though Manta wasnt that good I thought the operations of the B&M flyers are bad and slow an thought the ride was uncomfortable! Mako just didn't do a whole lot for me!
@@braddougan1919 Fair enough! I haven't been on many coasters, so I don't have much comparison. I admit Kraken slings you around and inverted in quick succession, Mako seems too high for me without the shoulder restraints. I have a fear of heights and Kraken was pretty cool for it's day and short track. After a few rides you could feel pretty beat up the next morning in your neck etc.

What does it feel like to go on the inversions on this ride
It feels like other inversions. You won't be upside down for long, though. The final vertical loop and the corkscrew give some hangtime, which means that you might be inverted for a more extended length of time.
They are mostly fast and immediately sending you in a different direction and right into another one, very awesome imo
For me, no stomach drop at all. Just feeling like you’re upside down and turning. Still a fun ride

Great video, always liked your other videos especially Boulder Dash. But one small complaint, I know the camera is mounted but it's like a robot is holding it. Going around curves it's like Data from Star Trek TNG is filming it. very smooth but very robotic smooth. No real human feel to it.
I'd rather have a smooth video than a more authentic one.

I handled Kraken 4 times, I saw a video of Mako and it looked more scary with the higher looking drop, I'd say you'd have no problem with Kraken
I would say new paint job, but better yet a re-track. It's getting a little too rough with it's age.

It used to be better themed when the Kraken was a sea monster and not an octopus. You can blame the lame VR “retheme” that they tried to force on this coaster.

I heard great things about this coaster and yes it looks smooth but allso realy basic...not so thrilling.
This video although high quality lacks people screaming and people in general or any enthusiasm from the people filming.
Usually there is a lot more coaster sound because of the weight of the people who seem to be lacking and they change the speed at differing weights.
I've been on it 4 times and loved it, it's definitely worth a go

Kind of an eyesore because of the vomit looking sun faded colors wish they repaint maybe even just redo the coaster all together make some improvements it’s probably the only part of the park that has aged badly well that and the gimmick with the whales done how they changed the penguins experience witch was not even necessarily bad it was perfect only problem was the conveyor belt they used would breakdown but hell let’s change the whole place and make it.look like an ice burge but keep the kraken looking like shit smart idea.
