I lived there in a small city near by for only 5 months in 2005 and it still has an impact on me. Great little towns in that area and lots to do and see within reasonable drives. Thanks for sharing
@@lorettaarzaga4172 It seems like Roseburg is one of the last affordable places to live in Oregon. Although, we are very concerned about some issues. Such as the fires, the high rate of theft and burglary. We are looking to purchase a few acres and build. We were going to take a trip this month, but with the virus doubling down, we are some what reticent. If you feel like sharing, I would be most interested in what you have to say. janeneadams@yahoo.com
There’s quite a large population of people living in the streets. There’s a meth problem. Not a lot to do if you aren’t interested in exploring the outdoors. Maybe, I’m biased.
I work and live in Roseburg . It’s a beautiful town- it’s not perfect as there are no perfect place in the whole world I love the summer concert at Half Shell, the kayaking at Amacher Park or nearby River Forks and Cooper Creek , the vineyards at Umpqua Valley and the closeness to beautiful Oregon coastal cities

Well, he literally too the most scenic routes of the city avoided the parts that would expose roseburg for the ugliness that is here. This video appeared more like a fantasy rendition of what it's like here. Avoided all the eye sores and trust me there are a lot of them
I live in this town. It’s nice but there is a lot of shit drivers. Mostly to a lot of people moving here from out of state. It never used to be like this.
This is what Roseburg Oregon really looks like; it is a very small city. What is not being said in this video is how hot and dry Roseburg is; the summers are long and the rainy season is short. Tom Sisson
only thing you forgot to show are the numerous homeless camps in public parks, the amount of crack needles you can find the vagrants asking for money at Walmart ,and the police sleeping in there vehicles ..ROFL but hey could be worse ...lol
Lived here in historic downtown for 5 years haven't once seen a needle or any paraphernalia. My child and I can and have walked all around downtown in the evenings without ever feeling unsafe. Everybody looks out for each other here. And love the way the cops respond quickly and keep it cleaned up compared to other Oregon towns. Where do you expect homeless to go? It's unfortunately an issue all up and down the I-5 corridor. And nothing like liberal towns homeless issues. The city gives them areas to set up and they stay there. At least the Republicans help them unlike up in Portland
Im not American so as an outsider this looks like any other American town to me big wide roads , boring box shaped retail outlets everywhere, no character of its own . Sorry but its certainly not beautiful or pretty , may be pretty bland ,I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say but if your happy there goodluck to you .
I lived in and around Roseburg 25 years. 1989 to 2013. I now live in Costa Rica where I rent a 7 bedroom/5 bath house with 4 car garage on 23 acres for $153 a month. Though first moved to Panama 2013, Ecuador 2014, Nicaragua 2015=6, and Costa Rica since 2017. In all 4 countries never paid more than $180 a month for a 3 bedroom/2 bath house. ruclips.net/video/Qr_2nx7B-CA/видео.html Eagles fly over my house. The town is about 9000 people. 2 traffic lights and top posted speed 40 KPH, so like driving in a perpetual school zone. No traffic problems here.

The road at the va actually does go all the way through. They just have it blocked off because of covid. I use to walk through it all the time.

At the beginning in the garden valley shopping center they took out a JCPenny and put in a grocery outlet
Moved the grocery outlet, not a new one. We have had the grocery outlet on Harvard. But it moved.
That beat 17:34 now we riding appreciate the views ❤

Good point to know.
IT SHOWED MY HOUSE.
Are you going to film Burns Oregon in SE Corner of the State
At some point, that is the hardest one to do. Since it's out of the way. So it could be longer then the others but i will have one eventually.

Either the video is sped up a bit or the driver has a lead foot. Nice quaint town though.

Far from liberal. Very republican the last 5 years that I've lived here.
