I love these guys! I had the pleasure of meeting Dan Hamilton in 1977 at a Dallas Convention. He was such a gentleman! His voice was beautiful and sounded the same live as it did recorded. He oozed pure talent. Because he could play any instrument under the sun. It is sad that he died way too young. I miss you Dan. ❤

I loved him so much! I remember sitting not even 4 ft away from him and he sang. It was in Harrisburg Pennsylvania years ago! He has the most sweetest beautiful gentle face and he almost took my breath away and he still does to this day. I wish he was still here with us. Makes me feel like crying. It was so gentle spirited. I could see it in his eyes.

By far one of my favorite groups. Joe frank is still out there and sound pretty good on a few of these songs. I wish there was more videos of them singing, there are so few out there. Thanks for sharing with us !
It's a shame that Danny Hamilton did not make it as a solo artist he was the total package good looks and an amazing voice with the right people and the right record company behind him he could have been HUGE

Loved this song back in the old days. Great band with a polished , smooth sound. Between these guys and the Raspberries, they cost me a fortune in clothes, tryin to keep up.BUTT man it paid back with the girls.
In the late 70s, we saw this version of the band at the Knott's Berry Farm Good Time Theater. Sat front row center. They sang this song and all their other hits. All for the price of admission to Knott's Berry Farm. Miss those days.

(Look at Van Halen's first [vinyl] LP from 1978; on the back and on the inside sleeve they are wearing disco clothes ... and they were a hard rock band.) As for genres, I'd call this song really superior pop music.

Great music which does not exist today, nothing will ever match the 60's and 70's. Timeless music for all. Your music will live on forever.
Pop and rock music were still good through the 80's. It wasn't until about the mid-90s that good music was cast aside.
I was a Top 40 DJ in the seventies and early eighties and you are spot on.

Dan Hamilton, Joe Frank Carollo, and Tom Reynolds (Reynolds was replaced by Alan Dennison but the band retained Reynolds's name in the band's name).
