I'd love to sing with such quality, and also to play the piano as such. Quite awesome!! Of course they're all talented and tightly formed.

It's incredible, his live voice is as perfect as in the recording studio, and he even plays the guitar at the same time, even though the guitar was already a part of himself 😋🎸🎶 In fact, Danny doesn't get too close to the microphone, and he even moves away from it; that's because of his powerful voice.

Amazing Live version from 1976. Dan Hamilton with the looks and voice to match just brilliant!! Yeah a handsome dude indeed....Barry Gibb with dark hair😁 great song and what a performance think that's his bro on piano, always loved the 'saloon bar piano solo' switching tempos. Like others have said no other music like it today. What I'd do to turn back the clock. My first intro to these guys was Fallin in Love back in 75 a sizeable hit 45 in the UK. Still have the single after all these years, and now all their albums on vinyl including Hamilton Joe Frank & Dennison Love and Conversation. I think Reynolds had left the group by then. Very sorry to hear Dan Hamilton is no longer with us. I had no idea hard to believe. What an amazing legacy of music he left us. Loving thoughts and best wishes. Fam and friends must miss him so much. Wonderful post thank you. Soulkev 🧭🧵❤xx

Thank you for your comments, undoubtedly Danny shone in every song, and Alan worked magic with his piano. I also think that Joe Frank was always Danny's support, he was by his side shoulder to shoulder like an older brother, besides his great performance on bass, he is also an excellent vocalist who contributed Rock and Blues at their best essence. Tommy had already left the band in '72. I also have all the albums, all their music is beautiful. And Love and Conversation must have been a success too, unfortunately it didn't happen.

I believe that Danny's beauty, both physical and vocal, is unique. I think he truly had the soul of an African-American soul singer, and his physical structure, from his wide mouth, neck, and chest, allowed him to express that deep yet smooth voice of a dramatic tenor in a unique and sensual way.🎶❤

Without a doubt, it's pure harmony that you want to listen to over and over again, filling you with energy. All the songs by HJF&R/D are beautiful and harmonious, but also the songs created by Danny like (Fallin' in love, Winners and Losers, Everyday Without You, So Good at Lovin' You) have an indescribable energy; they can move people with their vitality, bringing joy and warmth. It's music that heals and brings happiness. That's why I believe it's different and special. ❤️

Undoubtedly, many people who were lucky enough to see them live claim that they were amazing. A band of pure musical quality, according to his brother, Danny was very demanding and perfectionist with the music. He even privately paid for extra recording hours at the record label when they recorded "Fallin' in Love" because he wasn't satisfied with the recording. Finally, after one more night of recording, the song was ready as we know it, and it became a hit.😎🤟

@@cmybeezI would love to see more pictures of Alan. He was an exceptional pianist, not only in Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds. I listen daily to John Manning's album "White Bear"; I feel it's the most beautiful record ever, in that album, Alan also plays the flute. Alan seemed like a sensitive and humble being, no doubt you and your father were blessed with his friendship and affection. Thank you for sharing! It's always lovely to hear about the people they loved. If you wish to share any more anecdotes that Alan may have told you from those years, I would be so happy to read them. I truly love his music and it brightens my days.

The person playing the piano is Alan Dennison. He met Danny Hamilton in 1973 after Tommy Reynolds left the band to become a Jehovah's Witness. Alan was already a skilled pianist and had worked as a session musician for other artists. Together with Danny, Alan recorded all the demos for the songs on the album "Fallin' in Love" and presented them to various record labels while performing alongside Joe Frank in the grand hall of the Sail Inn hotel. Ultimately, Playboy Records signed them, and they recorded "Fallin' in Love," achieving a Gold record and regaining popularity for a new tour and TV appearances, such as this one, where they performed live on The Midnight Special. The band continued using the name Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds due to contractual obligations; Playboy Records requested that they stick with their popular name for at least the first album with the new record label. For the second album, "Love and Conversation," the band changed its name to "Hamilton, Joe Frank & Dennison."
