Terry got swole AF over the years and Amanda Waller became a sweet old lady.
eventually your sins catch up to you. Amanda did a lot of questionable shit in the name of "homeland security" and not justifying but if we lived in a world where dude's could one shot the planet, we might want to have some insurance in place but still, altering Terry's dad's DNA, likely causing his parents divorce(two red heads bearing black haired, BLUE EYED children) yeah.

One of the interesting things about Terry's physical differences compared to Bruce is that strength for him wasn't as important as dexterity. With the suit Terry is stronger than Bruce even if he lacked naturally powerful upper body strength... meaning that he was probably better off at age 16 than when he bulked up years later. Bruce Lee was a supreme example of maintaining a light build and yet being able to perform 100+ pushups or pull ups because of having a high strength to weight ratio. Terry would have been much better off training in such a manner.

Amanda Waller really had a lot of faith. Even though Terry shares Bruce's DNA, she was confident that Terry would end up like Bruce. For a lot characters, that amount of trauma would make them villains.
I was 16 when this show first come out so that makes Terry 41! damn we old mofos now ;lol
I mean if you're going by timeline of the show and not release date, he was 16 in 2039, meaning he would be born in 2023, so he would be a 1 year old baby now 😂
Being a 27 year old now, it makes me feel a lot better reminding myself that 31/32 year old Terry was in his prime still yet to be engaged just yet.
lol I'm 36 and still in my prime. You got about 8-10 years before your starting down the other side of the hill so take care of your body and you'll be fine. Also remember that the slide down the otherside is longer then the ride up.
I think the problem nowadays is that gen z and gen alpha is aging much faster than what gen y and gen x used to age at, its not a very healthy world right now, atleast not where I live.
Loved Batman beyond series was chief kiss. In the comics Terry and Matt ended living with Bruce in one run after their mom died. Terry and Dana broke up then he started dating Melanie. Matt actually did become Robin then almost got killed by the joker.
Doing that was a stupid descision by the comic writers

Id love a continuation of Batman Beyond when Bruce Wayne has passed away, since Kevin Conroy passed away & no-one should take over as the voice. Terry now grown and in his mid 30's - early 40's. His version is married to Dana.
Exactly. And his brother mat could be robin beyond at that time. That would be an awesome show. Too bad they probably won’t ever do it
Don’t think they’ll do a show but there is neo year and neo gothic comic that seems to continue from Batman beyond 2.0 which is a sequel to another Batman beyond comic which than is a sequel to the show (complicated)

Typically edges out Bruce in stories that show him at such ages like Better Days and DC Nuclear Winter,Nightwing also only reach up his nose in Batman 666 whereas he can reach up to Bruces eyes.

Was 1 inch taller than Michael Lane who is exactly as tall as Bruce.
(With Anti Life Equation absorbed in his body in DCSEASED he is 6'8 but that wasnt normal and he expanded to a galaxy later)

A bit stockier than Bruce but i dont think he is full 6'2 like his son
So Terry may have ended up a bit bigger and Damian ended up a bit taller(which makes sense considering his maternal grandfather and mother are tall and lanky)

I loved the Splice ep…. *if I was to make a Bat Beyond film, I would have Bruce use his DNA and have scientist construct a offspring that would be engineered to be his successor with Bruce knowing he won’t be able to continue crime-fighting. Bruce also creates Terry’s little brother who eventually becomes Cardinal. A sidekick similar to Robin that wears Red and has a Jetpack. Blight would be a huge drug dealer that’s taken over new Gotham. I would have Cardinal become drugged by Blight and become super addicted but work his way out of it with Diane and Terrys help before taking down Blight
You didn't mention the crossover between "Static Shock" and "BTAS"/"Batman Beyond". How old was Terry when he and teenage Static had to battle the cobra gang to release Adult Static?
Bruce said 40 years from Static times, aka 2002 -2004.
Batman Beyond series start in 2039, and time pass at least for one year (Terry said this in one of later epizode)
So 2-4 later, Bruce will be 82-84, terry 18-20.

You forgot to mention..While Terry was dating Dana he also met this other girl Melanie...he had a good run with her as Terry but she never found out he was actually Batman. But in the comics Melanie finds out that he is batman but Dana breaks up with Terry because of the Batman role and she discovered him cheating on her with Melanie.

He is definitely less similar than his brother and father.
Thats kind of the thing though,Damian as Batman is the closest thing that resembles Bruces Batman.
Terry is a different type of Batman,so he isnt as serious and is more casual and normal.
@newhybrid101 I just don't think he's related, though. Sure, some traits are the same, but I really think Waller took it a step further and tried to motivate Terry by adding more to the Truth

Loved batman beyond when it premiered alongside Eddie Muphy's the PJ's same night i think. There's something that you left out of this video.There was an attempt for a new movie to be made after return of the joker, which was where Teri sees alternate dimension Batman's including Michael Keaton's, Adam Eest, Brave and the Bold, A clip of it was released online maybe a decade ago.

I think that Miguel from the last episode should’ve become Robin, not Matt. Matt should have been what Bruce Wayne would have been, instead of Batman.

terry is technically going to be the longest serving batman which is crazy. bruce wayne was batman for around 20 years where as at the age of 32 terry has already been batman for 16 years. bruce Wayne retired as batman at age 55. if terry does the same he would be batman for 44 years. doubling bruce waynes mantel.
