Did you know: Bastian got roasted and kicked out of the Daily Bugle (literally & figuratively) by J. Jonah Jameson. Jameson may be a jerk, but he HATED anti-mutant racists and any racist and bully of any kind. He even told Peter Parker that he HATED neo-nazis a lot more than Spider Man in a issue of The Punisher.
Jameson was a dick towards Spider-Man for wearing a mask. Petty but he wasn't this racist ignorant guy.

His not only an enemy of the X-Men his also had a grudge with the Avengers. So there is a possibility that in the season finale that the Avengers will make an Appearance to help the X-Men.
Hopefully.
I pretty sure they are setting up Onslaught for season 2 as we see him talk about Xaiver and we see him holding Magneto prisoner. Onslaught is a combination of the consciousnesses of two powerful mutants, Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto, and has superior physical and mental powers. He can also possess the minds of others and use their bodies as his own. We could see the Avengers team up with the xmen or even see the avengers mind controlled to fight the xmen, anything is possible.
Cap's appearance and making a reference to "My team" seems to strongly suggest that.
What's his grudge with the Avengers?

Seriously. After Wolverine said his "six reasons" line, given the characters who are in the game, and how season 1 went, I'm starting to wonder if 97 was made to be a prequel to the game.

@@jodeci9898I doubt Mystique would send a giant robot to destroy the island where her children are residing, it would be out of character for her considering she almost gave her life to save Nightcrawler from Graydon Creed, and Rogue was her favorite child. In the comics. Bastion eventually exterminates Nightcrawler. But that’s years later so I wouldn’t worry.

I feel like the shows losing focus between Bastion and Sinister and even the Master Mold Sentinel stuff (even if Bastion created the Sentinels). Just all these plot lines feel a little chaotic and they probably coulda scrapped Sinister and the Goblin Baddie stuff from episode 3

Bastion has the power of Nimrod and intelligence of Master Mold. Marvel in their hierarchy classed Bastion, Nimrod, Master Mold and Omega Sentinel as level 6, so they're all equals. The most powerful sentinel called Tri-Sentinel was classed as level 7 in their hierarchy.

His design reminds me of Nathaniel Richards, Mr. Fantastic's father, and DC Comics's Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke, but without his trademark eyepatch.
It almost makes me wonder if Bastion's human form is a Time Variant Nathaniel Richards who comes from a different timeline, with no memory of who he was.
That or Master Mold/Nimrod took infected this Nathaniel Richards variant.
Because why did Master Mold/Nimrod choose that body?

That guy who can absorb the power of atom because that guy treats magneto like his child same we saw in the series when he saves magneto's beard after capturing him and that guy can stays young by absorbing the power of atom so that tells us that he might even look younger than older magneto.

That was Black King Sebastian Shaw, and he died in Genosha, he was the guy who always accompanies Emma Frost
