I really love the resurgence of the importance of Cyclops. It is easy to think that Wolverine As the main character due to Hugh Jackman’s performance as the character in the Fox films. Cyclops was the first member of the team and THE leader of X-Men. So if the MCU wants to bring the X-Men, they should do Cyclops first and then introduce Wolverine in a later time!
Wolverine made jackman, not the other way around. Wolverine has been marvels 2nd most popular character since the 80's. He was popular way before anyone even knew jackmans name.
Scott Summers isn't just the most underrated of the X men but the most underrated character in marvel. He's such a fascinating tortured character, the perfect mix between batman/captian America and Professor X/Magneto. The devoted soldier loyal to Xaviers dream, the fierce warrior who will go by whatever means to fulfill his mission and protect his people and brilliant tactician with plans on top of plans. He's been through hell with the loss of his mother, separation from his father and brother, the abuse by Mr Sinister and the pressures and abuse of Xavier. Scott had to try to live up to Xavier's ideals and be his perfect little soldier, his"Golden boy" while at the same time fighting a brutale war against people who hate and want to kill his kind. He had to be a pacifist and soldier at the same time, he's incredibly fascinating and complex and i wish the movies and tv shows would stop doing so dirty.
Cyclops much like Superman has always been characterized in recent media as the dull, boring boyscout of the group however Cyclops is one of the most interesting characters in X-Men and such a great leader that media likes to make you believe he's boring. Some of my favourite takes on Scott Summers has to be from X-Men Evolution and coincidentally the recently released X-Men 97 and X-Men Animated Series that truly took the time to flesh out Scott showing how fascinating, cool and layered he is as a person that believes in Charles vision no matter what.
Cyclops became the perfect blend of both Xavier and Magnetto. Believes their could be peace but not dumb enough to not prep for the violence to come. It's also a shame we'll never get the true Cyclops to the main screen. As I don't trust the writing and directtion now a days.
I honestly think that the early 2000s was a massive time for grungy broody bad boy heroes, so they made Wolverine the star of the show, and made Cyclops an unlikeable foil to Logan, the authoritative military man that was despised in the genre. Now i get that the third film was more because of him being in Superman retuns, but no excuses for the first two. One thing i would want in an X men reboot is cyclops done justice
@@youngspecial64Yeah, while I always trust Feige when it comes to characterization (and Sarah Finn with casting), '97 has inspired more hope that they'll get Scott right.
@cthomas025 feige did hulk dirty imo, reduce one of strongest fleshed out characters to fodder is sad. Im a massive hulk fan and the ruffalo vetsion is worst of 3 movie interations by far
I'm stoked that Cyclops is finally getting the recognition he deserves! When creating a character for my novel, I took some inspiration from him because I was infatuated with the idea of a young person with big responsibilities who ends up struggling with their identity later on. I feel like we barely see that in stories today
The Summers brothers are my three favorite X-Men characters. They all have energy output related powers and have varying personalities. Havok was always my most favorite but I always liked Scott because of his character in the comics and his design (Idk i always thought he looked cool asf). I love Gabriel Summers because hes a powerful asshole and his fight with Blackbolt was epic imo. I also liked the Pure Vessel theme when talking about Scotts relationship with Xavier as it is kind of a reflection of the Pale King and the Hollow Knight. Like Xavier, the Pale King sought a Warrior who could be his leader, his perfect creation. And like Cyclops, the Hollow Knight was made by the Pale King to be a Pure Vessel to carry the burden of a Plague that was going to end the kingdom. At the end of the day, the Pale King did not truly care for the Pure Vessel. And later on in the comics, it becomes clear that Xavier has put his ideology above the Xmen and so Cyclops expelled him from the Xmen. Idk I feel like I'm yapping rn but yeah, I liked that detail even if u didn't think about it too much
THANK YOU for this video! Cyclops has been my favorite X-Men since I was a child back in the 90s and it hurts to see him get disrespected by the fandom because of Wolverine’s popularity which happens in many superhero franchises.
A good leader has to have good followers, intense training to cope with the stress of combat, and the right sort of personality to make things work. Xavier was a doctor, he had to have prepared for some bloody sights, he knew times were gonna be tough when he formed the X-Men even will all that infectious optimism of his, he had to be adaptable, and he may have had an ego, but didn't crack up, fighting (and dying in some instances) for what he believes in. Cyclops was battle-tested even before becoming a member of the team, a survivor. He may not have been the smartest or strongest, but compassion is what makes him a great leader. I know it must be hard for a man with no control over an ocular power, but Scott has eyes that go beyond that, seeing potential in others and always trying to help. "Sometimes the best way to solve your own problems is to help someone else." My favorite version of Cyclops is from X-Men: Evolution, a younger teen version who is not often a leader, but when he is, he is dedicated, protective, willing to make tough calls, and makes mistakes to which he will admit to. I'd love to see a video from you on Captain America.
My personal favorite Cyclops is the one from X-Men: Evolution & I’m starting to like the one in the recent X-Men ‘97 cartoon. BTW, the premier of ‘97 & your Cyclops video on one day? Sweet!
As much as Joss Whedon sucks as a person his run on Astonishing X-Men is still one of my favorite in all of comics, so big ups to you referencing those books. He got what made not just Cyclops great, but why people in general think the X-Men are interesting.
Cyke's ability to bounce his beams with precision is part of his mutation, he has spacial awareness on par with Daredevil, he can sense the geometric angles of everything around him and the ability to do complex calculations in fractions of a second.
This made me cry. I am an older comics fan & I have always been a [big] fan of cyclops but have never been able to say or show others why. You did this beautifully, thank you!
That to me just emphasizes how scarily powerful the stronger mutants are. If THAT isn't omega level we as the audience are left to speculate how utterly terrifying it would be if someone like Storm stopped pulling their punches so much
X-Factor 68 (where Cyclops gives up Nathan [who became Cable] because of the techno virus) is still one of my all-time favourite comic books and Cyclops story. How can you beat this: "The eyes, it's said, are the windows to the soul. So I open mine wide...And Give Apocalypse a view of Mine" [And proceeds to obliterate an oversized gigantic Apocalypse with a single massive Optic Blast!]
excellent masterpiece of a character deep dive. Cyclops has ALWAYS been my favorite superhero of all time because of these complexities of his character. He is the X G.O.A.T.
Cyclops has really hasn't had the best representation in the past years (in movies and tv series) ,but with the new x men 97 series I hope that he will get the recognition he deserves
Cyclops was my first ever favorite Marvel character. As a kid, you plop down in front of the Spider-man or Batman animated series, of course your favorite hero will be one of them. However with the X-Men show, different characters get the spotlight and if anything the show tries hard to push Wolverine as a protagonist. Choosing Cyclops was a very conscious, personal decision I made when I was an extremely young kid. My Cyclops action figure was the Woody to my Andy. Being a Cyclops fan is not like being the fan of the others. If you're a batfan or a Goku fan your fanaticism is only augmented by interacting with others. When you're a Cyclops fan, you're immediately singled out and challenged at every turn. You don't get encouragement or reassurance from interacting with others, rather you're forced to resist peer pressure at a very young age and you develop argumentative skills from having to defend your hill so often. A lot of people hate the X-Men movies but I latched on to the good of at least the first one because I was finally seeing my character in the big screen. I was never a big fan of the post 2000's comics. Cyclops to me is to the X-Men what Superman is to the JLA or Captain America to the Avengers. He is the True North, the moral compass, the example by which others try to live as X-Men. That is still how I see the character, which is why I hoped for the best with X-Men 97, a version of the character that existed before Marvel tried so hard to make him a bad guy (and failed). I definitely feel vindicated by X-Men 97 (so far). They definitely have made good by Cyclops and people have started to notice. I just hope it's not just a ploy and the rug gets yanked from under us.
My first introduction to the X-Men was in 1977, I was collecting Thor, Doctor Strange, Hulk, The Defenders, Star Wars, and a couple DC titles, my friend Cleo collected comics as well, he started buying X-Men at issue 107 and 108 and after reading them I started buying X-Men at issue 109. Issues 107 & 108 were the first appearances of The Starjammers and Imperial Guard, both issues focused heavily on Cyclops' past, his relationship with Jean and the origin of Christopher Summers becoming Corsair. Cyke was the first X-Man I had any real understanding and insight of, I saw him as the mutant version of Captain America but cooler with eyebeams instead of a shield, he had a hot girlfriend and didn't take crap from anyone, he was a legit team leader with a personality. Some of my favourite Cyclops moments are when he's teaching Wolverine why he's the leader of the X-Men. Storm, Nightcrawler, Banshee and Colossus were my other favourite X-Men but Wolverine was kind of annoying and pissy most of the time. Banshee gets no respect from X-Men writers, he's a great character. Issue 109 was the first appearance of Weapon Alpha/Guardian/Vindicator and a look into Wolverine's mysterious past but Wolverine didn't become a Top 5 favourite X-Man until issues 132 & 133 vs the Hellfire Club, particularly that last page of 132 "Now it's my turn."
I think you’ve nailed it. Cyclops has always been my favorite comic character. His closest analogue would be a Captain America tinged with doubt, or Dick Grayson with imposter syndrome.
Scott… whilst I don’t like how he was with Maddie, I’m going to be honest; that’s pretty much the only reason I can see people disliking him. Cyclops is arguably the most morally sound of the original 5 second to Iceman who has neither had to make the hard choices and has rarely done anything morally dubious. Scott unfortunately has that “leader takes responsibility situation” but, unlike other characters like Leonardo or Optimus Prime, his conviction, relationship with his mentor and how he acts with others is always looked into. Always criticised and almost always explored. Heck, the one time it isn’t would probably be in the early X factor era. I like him, I find him compelling but there’s others I want to see more of. Going to find your take on Angel interesting because I have a Candy Southern and a Stacy X shaped pair of bones to pick with that character. Back when I was a kid, I saw Scott as the Brainy Smurf. Now, I know better I would love to see you do something for the hidden member of the original X men; Sage.
It's sad Cyclops never gets the respect he deserves, along with Beast, Angel and even Ice man at times get disrespected. They either make him to straightforward, to moody or depressedml. I think X-Men evolution and the X-Men anime really did him justice after 90s X-Men. He just gets tossed to the side in most of the movies and other series focus on Wolverine to much. Nightcrawler is my favorite along with Kitty, but Cyclopes and Beast deserve respect.
What makes Cyclops such a compelling character is the latent darkness that is within him. He is a GREAT leader and Tactician. But like all great leaders there is a very human side that fears and is shrouded with darkness. That’s why he is one of my favorite X MEN
always has been my favourite The single greatest moment of Cyclops is in Astonishing X-Men when they get to the alien planet and Cyclops gets kidnapped. The second he unleashes his optic blast was beyond epic
Cyclops is a character who catches so much undeserved grief that hating Cyclops is basically a meme. X-Force, the black ops mutant hit squad? Wolverine forms it again RIGHT AFTER Cyclops disbanded it, and later Cable recreated it, neither of them catching ANY flak for it. After M-Day, anti-mutant terrorists blew up a bus full of children who had lost their powers, and the Avengers didn’t raise a single finger. In fact, they came to the mutants trying to convince them to side with the government during the Avenger’s civil war. Cyclops is called a jerk for **not** siding with the government, when that same government had turned the Xavier school into a mutant camp surrounded by sentinels. Cyclops’ great crimes post AvX were: saving newly powered mutants from being shot by police for the crime of breathing while a mutant, breaking mutants out of jail whose powers had just activated and were out of control with neither the X-Men or the Avengers raising a finger, and saving a mutant girl from being shot at by tanks and attacked by the Avengers when her time powers manifested for the first time. All this caused cyclops to be labelled a ‘mutant terrorist’ by the characters in the setting and by marvel’s writers.
Nice video, what I like about Cyclops is the fact that he grows into his own person his own man. Sure he was Xavier's star student, his first student, and some even called him the teacher's pet. But over the course of time manages to stand on his own, stand on his two feet. He has to be the one to take charge and make sure that the X-Men fall in line, the literal glue that holds the team together. As not only the leader of the X-Men, but the leader of his family which he has grown to love...
I'm a long time X-Men fan and Cyclops was my favorite character so I was continually disappointed by how the Fox X-Men movies treated him, to the point where I grew to dislike Wolverine a lot because of how hard they were pushing him. Glad that he is now getting the respect he deserves. I'm praying that we get a great Cyclops in the MCU when the X-Men debuts there.
Really glad you touched a little on Matt Fraction’s run on X-Men. The run wasn’t perfect, but Fraction had a really great understanding of Cyclops and did such a good job developing him and rationalizing all the decisions the character makes during that run.
Scott Summers is in the comics and incredible leader. He does his best to sort out and understand his own emotions. Keeping control of them, observing himself still being empathetic to others, not neglecting their thoughts or feelings either he definitely deserves more love and character development
cyclops is a great character, and his rapport with wolverine is such a big part of the xmen dynamic. Two opposites that hate each other but learn to respect and eventually like each other in the end. It's the cap/iron man dynamic that needs to play out in the mcu for the xmen
I would love for them to create an X-men universe within the MCU and not rush it - starting with a Cyclops movie to really set the tone as why he is so good and the real leader of the X-men, as well as being the first
Cyclops has been my favorite member of the X-Men and one of my favorite Marvel heroes for almost 30 years. It means so much to me to see people finally respecting him. Thank you so much for making it -- I couldn't have said it better myself!!!! That final image you used is the one I always consider to be best representative of the time when Scott Summers, a relatively cursed individual, finally got to feel like he won. :-)
Cyclops became one of my favorite heroes after i read House of X/Powers of X and he became the Equivalent of Mutant Captain America for me plus with his Jim lee 90s Era costume being one of my favorite costumes ever created.
For me, it'd always been Scott, which is probably why I held such apathy towards the X-Men movies (legitimately didn't help that I'd never been a fan of Logan *shrug*) Glad to see that he's getting more appreciation in recent years
This is all facts. Cyclops is the most important character in the X-Men. He is the greatest leader, mutant kind has ever known, better than Charles, better than Eric by their own admission. The greatest proof of this comes from the fact that no matter how powerful they are, even if they are mad at him, even if they don’t get along with him, even if they don’t agree with him, the other X-Men will always follow him, he has earned their respect and admiration. They know, no matter what he is the guy that is always there, the one who always has their back.
The more noise we make about Cyclops as the greatest X-Men the better chances we'll get to see him the respect he deserves in the movies. Keep em coming!
My top 10 favorite X-MEN 1. Cyclops 2. Nightcrawler 3. Wolverine 4. Storm 5. Rogue 6. Iceman (before he got turned into an offensive stereotype whose only defining trait now is his sexuality) 7. Psylocke 8. Angel 9. Emma Frost 10. Bishop
@emmarod8746 Nah, as someone who is gay I didn't mind him having his sexuality changed. I just don't like when certain writers have him bring it up every second or like I stated previously, have him act like an offensive stereotype type.
@@purkle200 X-men stories bring up them being mutants and how they deal with it all the time. They even bring up characters races like Storm or Mirage and the issues they faced in society because of the discrimination they receive not only as members of mutant kind but also for their own skin color. Mutants like Nightcrawler and Wolfsbane constantly have religious themes associated with their characters in most stories they appear in. Whats wrong with Bobby having a additional aspect to his character when at his core, he still is the fun loving Iceman from the 60’s?
@@emmarod8746And he was always flirting before he came out. The energy is put somewhere else. Plus, in Krakoa, seems like a lot of his attention was during Marauders stuff.
honestly xmen evolutions had the best cyclops, having wolverine as one of the few adults and the rest teens allowed scott to be the only one around TO lead the team so he got a lot of time to shine
Love the point guard metaphor as a way to understand the fundamental tension between who Scott was designated to be and who he’s grown into over the years. Pitch-perfect analogy
A simple destructive power from his eyes that shoot beams comparing to other X-Men when I was a kid wasn't really appealing to me, and yet there has been something that resonated within me about Cyclops, and then I understand when I grew older his sense of leadership and compassion is something that inspires me, really. This is such a great way to show that Cyclops' leadership and compassion is his greatest strength. Awesome stuff.
2024 seems to be the year Scott regains his name after what those movies did to his image, obviously the XMen is a team but anyone ever deserved to be called the XMan it’s Scott summer
@@jamman9569 i would give u the assassinations thing, but i would disagree with AVX. Hope Summers using the power of the phoenix helped repopulate the mutant population. Even before AVX he was right: in second coming. at the end of second coming, hope summers gets some of the powers from the phoenix. at the same time 5 new mutants started to pop up on earth. also, in AVX logan wanted to assassinate a teenager - his own kind. even he's not totally 100% in the right all of the time. Also Captain America was in the wrong for threating to take away someone from a sovereign nation, that hasn't done anything yet, and you don't think there would be any push back. Now if logan wasn't so gun hoe on killing hope, or the avengers on wanting to arrest hope, they could have worked together.
@johnthai6188 No, Logan wasn't trying to kill her. He was prepared to if it looked like she was gonna lose it. Scott was petty and compromised. The PF had proven time and time again that it couldn't be controlled. The Avengers had every right to be concerned with how something that destroys planets would affect all of them.
As a kid I was always on the Wolverine hype train, due in no small part to the movies and shows of course. But reading the comics made me really respect Cyclops. He's probably my second or third favorite X-man and definitely surpassed Wolverine.

THANK YOU!!! I get so tired of telling people he's not the lame guy or a "cop". He really is a great character.
Idk I feel like I'm yapping rn but yeah, I liked that detail even if u didn't think about it too much
Cyclops is not always right he just usually is, because he has to be. Great video
"Sometimes the best way to solve your own problems is to help someone else."
My favorite version of Cyclops is from X-Men: Evolution, a younger teen version who is not often a leader, but when he is, he is dedicated, protective, willing to make tough calls, and makes mistakes to which he will admit to.
I'd love to see a video from you on Captain America.
scott is one of the coolest strategists in the whole marvel universe. glad to see the new x men 97 show embrace that aspect of him now.
My personal favorite Cyclops is the one from X-Men: Evolution & I’m starting to like the one in the recent X-Men ‘97 cartoon.
BTW, the premier of ‘97 & your Cyclops video on one day? Sweet!
Its kinda smart from this youtuber because more people will actually watch the video then.
i promise i didn’t plan this lol
@@SagesRainYou finna make a video on how they treated him on X-Men '97???
Always loved Cyclops for his leadership, power and his limitation of not be able to opening his eyes, dude's always been a badass
I used to hate cyclops from the movies... but then I discovered his comic book version and damn! One of my favorites!
Cyclops was my favorite X-men as a kid. Glad you made this video
As much as Joss Whedon sucks as a person his run on Astonishing X-Men is still one of my favorite in all of comics, so big ups to you referencing those books. He got what made not just Cyclops great, but why people in general think the X-Men are interesting.
Alot of good artists tend to be very terrible and hypocritical people.
I'm so glad that people are seeing how great Cyclops is. He's a great character.
Ngl in terms of importance to me it’s Scott , Kurt , Logan , Jean , Xaixer
storm after scott for me
Scott,storm,kurt,logan,magneto,Rouge
Scott, Magneto, Storm, Wolvie, Gambit
@@SagesRainBlame Hugh Jackman. He wanted to be the star and not let it be an ensemble.
Mine are Scott, Jean, Storm, Kitty, and Rogue. Rogue to me is Xavier’s second best student.
RUclipsr: "Cyclops isn't absurdly powerful"
Cyclops: *punches a hole through the moon with optic blasts* "What'd you say?"
That to me just emphasizes how scarily powerful the stronger mutants are. If THAT isn't omega level we as the audience are left to speculate how utterly terrifying it would be if someone like Storm stopped pulling their punches so much
cyclops is really awesome and badass in my opinion and such a great character.
X-Factor 68 (where Cyclops gives up Nathan [who became Cable] because of the techno virus) is still one of my all-time favourite comic books and Cyclops story.
How can you beat this:
"The eyes, it's said, are the windows to the soul.
Nice close mentioning Wolverine’s respect for Cyclops. Well done. ✨✅✨
Cyclops out here getting the respect he rightfully deserves
You made justice to Cyclops with your video, he is the best leader and I am happy he's finally having the respect he deserves
Now, I know better
I would love to see you do something for the hidden member of the original X men; Sage.
I love that people are finally putting respect on Scott's name!
That’s why he is one of my favorite X MEN
YES been waiting for this since the Wolverine one cyclops story is the one of the great story in xman
Beautiful video, brother. Thank you for respecting our boy, Scott Summers
always has been my favourite
The single greatest moment of Cyclops is in Astonishing X-Men when they get to the alien planet and Cyclops gets kidnapped. The second he unleashes his optic blast was beyond epic
As a Lifelong Cyclops fan, I THANK YOU, for putting respect my guys name!
It feels so good to have my favorite X-Men of all time getting the praise he deserves, finally.
So glad the x men 97 cartoon seems to be giving Scott some mojo
FR! I'm so happy X-Men ‘97 got it right. He needs to be respected so much more.
The shows, movies, cartoons don't do Cyclops justice. He's criminally underrated, and deserves more respect put on his name.
X men Evolutuon did pretty good
Think about it: He can knock out almost anyone with a look, with impeccable aim no less. Dude’s no joke
Really glad you touched a little on Matt Fraction’s run on X-Men. The run wasn’t perfect, but Fraction had a really great understanding of Cyclops and did such a good job developing him and rationalizing all the decisions the character makes during that run.
Fucking finally.. i've been defending my boy summers ever since writers made X-Men a Wolverine and friends story.
Scott Summers is in the comics and incredible leader. He does his best to sort out and understand his own emotions. Keeping control of them, observing himself still being empathetic to others, not neglecting their thoughts or feelings either he definitely deserves more love and character development
FINALLY SOMEONE PUT SOME RESPECT ON MY MAN
cyclops is a great character, and his rapport with wolverine is such a big part of the xmen dynamic. Two opposites that hate each other but learn to respect and eventually like each other in the end. It's the cap/iron man dynamic that needs to play out in the mcu for the xmen
I would love for them to create an X-men universe within the MCU and not rush it - starting with a Cyclops movie to really set the tone as why he is so good and the real leader of the X-men, as well as being the first
Cyclops is the equivalent of X-Men's Version of Captain America. The least powerful but somehow the leader of the team
Cyclops became one of my favorite heroes after i read House of X/Powers of X and he became the Equivalent of Mutant Captain America for me plus
with his Jim lee 90s Era costume being one of my favorite costumes ever created.
Cyclops has always been the mutant equivalent of Captain America, just with some added edge.
@@smashmaster521captain America is not a mutant also captain America is more skilled than cyclops.
My favorites characther since I'm a child , I'm happy that this video is here !!!!
For me, it'd always been Scott, which is probably why I held such apathy towards the X-Men movies (legitimately didn't help that I'd never been a fan of Logan *shrug*)
Glad to see that he's getting more appreciation in recent years
People on all social media platforms have seen Cyclops and are giving him the respect he deserves!
Thank you for this, Sage.
Cyclops is a badass and psycho in the comics
I know you were going CRAZY when you saw the first episodes of X-Men '97.
They put RESPECT on his name.
Absolute respect, man
Really hope the whole deal with the "Jeans" won't undermine him that bad to the point of not getting any more badass memorable moments.
The more noise we make about Cyclops as the greatest X-Men the better chances we'll get to see him the respect he deserves in the movies. Keep em coming!
My top 10 favorite X-MEN
1. Cyclops
2. Nightcrawler
3. Wolverine
4. Storm
5. Rogue
6. Iceman (before he got turned into an offensive stereotype whose only defining trait now is his sexuality)
7. Psylocke
8. Angel
9. Emma Frost
10. Bishop
Iceman is still funny and cool. His is sexuality just another part of himself like how his mutation is part of what makes him who he is.
They even bring up characters races like Storm or Mirage and the issues they faced in society because of the discrimination they receive not only as members of mutant kind but also for their own skin color. honestly xmen evolutions had the best cyclops, having wolverine as one of the few adults and the rest teens allowed scott to be the only one around TO lead the team so he got a lot of time to shine
You need to keep doing comic book heroes this is beautiful
Cyclops was and is my favourite X-Man. The classic comics show you just how good he is.
Finally someone says it!
Love the point guard metaphor as a way to understand the fundamental tension between who Scott was designated to be and who he’s grown into over the years. Pitch-perfect analogy
Thanks for tha great video as always
Damn.... He is the embodiment of Magneto and Professor X
The glazing since the show started back up is crazy
Captain America is the leader we want to be.
Cyclops is the leader we're going to be.
Scott was my favorite because he looked cool and shot red laser beams from his eyes. Red is my favorite color so him and magneto
Bro your videos are so chill but also thought provoking. Great stuff. I knew Cyclops was more complex and this shows a whole world of him.
Always my favorite character in X-Men. I'm so glad 97 is giving the man his due respect.
2024 seems to be the year Scott regains his name after what those movies did to his image, obviously the XMen is a team but anyone ever deserved to be called the XMan it’s Scott summer
Cyclops is the BEST X-men; as always he was right.
Not about everything
@@jamman9569 he may not always be right in terms of romantic relationships, but in terms of his mission for mutant kind then he is.
@johnthai6188 No he wasn't right for AvX and Logan had a legitimate point about him training the kids for assasinations.
Cyclops, the man that you are. X-Men '97 really opened my eyes
Scott is my favourite!
Just happy that X-Men 97 has done justice to his character...
As a kid I was always on the Wolverine hype train, due in no small part to the movies and shows of course. But reading the comics made me really respect Cyclops. He's probably my second or third favorite X-man and definitely surpassed Wolverine.
