Well I wanna know So frustrating I cannot see what the temperature gage says if I have my lights on so I have my headlights on in my car and it dims the backlit I guess you would say of the temperature reading you know heater settings and I can’t see it so I actually have to turn my lights off of my car to see what it says it’s that damn dim lol
I just paid off my 2017 Outback Subaru and just now getting around to learning all these settings. The best automobile I have ever owned. Thanks so much for this video.... you rock!
Hello. How do you change the display on the top center/dashboard (where the clock is)? My battery finally needed to be replaced, so when I did that, the settings changed! I liked having “miles remaining” for my fuel!!! I have a 2017 Crosstrek. Thanks!!!
I realize this is an older video. I hope I am given a solution. My 2017 Subaru Outback does not show contact names after upgrading from Samsung Galaxy s22 to s23 Ultra. Google did not provide any links associated with this problem.

I had a friend of mine look to see what was going on with my battery the other day and when I got in it I didn't notice right away but it didn't take long before. I noticed that I could not figure out how many miles I had left before I needed to put gas in my car. Lol I love that screen up there so thank you. Now I know how to fix it.😊
What exactly do you mean by reset the oil life? I would love to help but I am unsure what you are asking. Could you rephrase your question so I can look into it for you?

You're stuck with the base model, which has absolutely nothing but tires, an engine and a crappy radio. But it's still a Subaru. Trade up if you expect all the "Packages" or leather seats or better speakers.
The I/set should be on the bottom left corner of the steering wheel kind of behind it but still attached. Once you see the up down arrows just cycle the screen in between your gauges until it says "l/set customize" If you still need help feel free to email me.

The button visible in half of the video that says, "trip reset" maybe?
The response below was correct, push the button to switch between Trip A and Trip B and hold it down to reset.

Can you turn the blue rings off?
If you mean the blue lighting behind the gauges then no but you can dim them with the dimmer on the dash to the left of the steering wheel
i hate the blue rings i rather it be white looks cleaner
