With my extensive roof rack experience I can add that unused roof racks aren't in the way of anything. We just use them when needed and ignore them when we don't. Wind noise? Ive never knowingly encountered that, but I only admittedly can't say. Even then I would need to quantify it against all of the other road noise sources which probably makes them a minor contributor with their aerodynamic shape. Speaking of aerodynamics, I did actual fuel consumption testing on my outback both with and without a full size clamshell enclosure on the roof. If anything, such a large object would affect fuel consumption quite a bit more than the rails themselves. The fact is that the clamshell hardly affected fuel mileage at all. Nearly identical on the order of 1 or 2 percent. I even drove the exact same 90 mile route round trip in similar weather, and paid attention to speed with cruise control. Unstreamlined blunt faced loads do make a difference, but not the commercially made wedge shaped ones. That being the case, there's nothing to be concerned with over fuel consumption and roof rails.
One more "feature"regarding the roof rack. Because of the swing feature of the cross bars , there is an exposed hole in the top of the side rails on each side. If you live in an area that uses salt and maybe even sand, material can get trapped inside the side rails that won't wash out in a car wash. An effective and cheap solution is to stop at your hardware and pick up 2 #7 rubber stoppers. They fit snuggly and require no tools for instalation or removal.
I just bought 2022 Outback in September I've already put 4000 plus miles on it and would happily trade it in for my 2002 Honda Cr-V. To bad my Honda was ready to retire at 287,000 miles.
Alex,I’m delighted that you came to me. I’m the proud owner of a Subaru and I’m pleased that you offer ongoing Subaru tutorials. I’ve been made aware of features I was not familiar with. Thank you for sharing in such a helpful way!
I grew up with a Subaru station wagon, and looking at a new generation Outback or Impreza feels like looking at a familiar face of a descendant from someone you knew long ago. Videos like this exploring the wagon’s features make me so happy to see. I love my current wagon - a Mazda 3 - dearly as well, but if and when it’s time for me to get a larger wagon, I know in my heart that there is going to be an epic homecoming to Subaru. 🤗
Just discovered this channel. When you showed the seat extension I had to go right out to the garage to try it. How did I not know this before! My husband will be so happy with this on long trips. Now I’m going down the rabbit hole of your videos and taking notes.
One other thing about the roof rack system is you can change the location of the rear bar if you want a longer span between the rails. With the star screwdriver in your spare tire area you just remove the centre of the locking pin, and switch the location with the centre screw of the rear bar. They can still be stored the same way as originally designed!
Great info. Since I’ve had my Outback for about 7 months, I knew most of them, but did not know the cargo cover could be put away in the car. Thank you!
Alex, great video! Those roof racks are really a time saver too! But... The open hole that's left when opening the cross member causes a whistle while driving. I bought two rubber lense caps that fit snugly ito the hole to stop the whistle. 2019 outback prieumin owner.

Granted, our salesman hit the highlights, and important points. You have the time to go over all the features without interruptions. Thank you.
Alex, thank you do much for your videos about the Subaru Outback! I have inherited one due to a sad situation in my family and I had no idea at all about all these features, etc. In fact, I was a little intimidated by all these features and gizmos and I was planning to sell the car. But, you have helped me more that you know. Also, you are such a charming person, it's a pleasure to watch you. Again... Thanks!
That bonus feature! I had no idea, I just went outside to hide my cargo cover in a safer place! First of all, I didn't even realize there was that little hook thingy to hold up the back area to get to the jack!
Great Video Alex but honestly at the dealership there is supposed to be a product specialist who is supposed to go over all of the features of the car before delivery. One really great one was turn on the rear window defroster to stop the start stop thing. They later updated the screen software to put that switch onto top screen. If you have any input to Subaru please tell them we want a real set of buttons for the heated seats. Going down a menu to get to adjust them makes you take your eyes off the road.
I have a 2021 Outback Limited and was unable to keep my appointment with the dealer so they could explain these features. I'm glad to have found your video. I love this car and now that I know these hidden features I love it even more. This car is well designed! Thanks!

Thank you for your vedio I had a beep in my 18 crossback which reminded you that you fab was still in the car after turning it off and opening the car door How can I get it back on
I love my subaru. I find little hidden things about the car all the time, and its so cool the way the car makes you like it more and more as time goes on lol
I bought a 2005 Subaru Outback a month ago and so far it’s my favorite car I’ve owned!! And I’ve owned a few cars. When I build my credit up a little higher, will definitely be looking into the newer models!!
Such a great video I just got my 2022 outback this week! Best decision I have ever made I am so excited to customize it to my preferences. I love that I can have my high beams on at all times and if another vehicle is around me it will automatically shut the high beams off and turn them back on after the car has passed.
Hey Alex, Enjoy your channel very much. Your videos have helped me a lot since my purchase of 2021 Forester Touring. Is there anyway to increase the volume of the backup warning beeps as you approach an object? I live on a narrow crowded street. Thank you.
Thank you so much ...very helpful… I test drove a pre owned 2021 outback limited at a Toyota dealership and I was so pleased to show the salesman the latches that flip down the back seats! He was impressed!😊
Man, I thought you scraped that crossbar across the paint on the roof of the car. Iwas momentarily horrified. I had to rewind the video and watch it again slowly and I realized the scraping sound was one of the crossbars underneath the other one. Happy for you. Very good video. And I am really really falling in love with my ‘22 limited.
Hey. One more hidden feature you demonstrated and didn’t talk about the rear hatch floor support that holds the floor up while you are storing the cover or spare tire. Cool.
Yeah, I totally missed that one too! I’m so used to some of these features I often forget the small details like that lol. That little hook is a life saver
Hey Alex, thanks to your many helpful videos, I bought a new 2020 Outback Wilderness, and I just got the delivery! I would have definitely bought it from you, if I didn’t live in another state. Thanks again, Alex!
What about mentioning the custom 5 digit Pin code to unlock feature? My 2017 outback has it. Great for surfing etc. You can just put key fob to sleep and leave the whole thing inside vehicle and then unlock doors using a preset pin code on the small tailgate button. Used to just take physical key part but it got all corroded after while. Edit: see you have a separate video on it 💪
I use that cargo cover storage area for emergency reflective triangle and flares. We had to have these when we lived in Germany and it became standard in our cars.
The stowed roof rails is one feature that attracted me to the Outback. Yes, there are many more and I have a 2017 6-cylinder; which was another attraction. The items I hope they improved are the weak speaker system and the weak horn. These were two small items for a great vehicle. Glad the OEM thought about those with longer legs and install the leg support system. Clever idea for sure.
Ditto on the speaker system and weak horn! I'll add in ROAD NOISE! I have had regular subaru station wagons in the past and have a XTrek now. Have they fixed that on the Outback?
@@anniss5908 road noise? Most soob outback’s are pretty quiet. But if you have the 6 cyl 3.6 R . Those vehicles have more aggressive tires That make more noise on Paved roads …..they have a Lift. They also have a turbo which in itself is noisier than the 2.5 normal engine. I’ll tell you what I have a regular 18 and I will happily trade you for a much quieter ride lol
@@anniss5908 seconding the road noise, Its somehow worse that my old a4 with snow tires (outback has summer tires). I have an 18, so no clue abt the newer models though.
Yes, that's a disappointment. Fuji Heavy Industries use to make their vehicles with great horns. I have 2007 Subaru Legacy Spec-B and I love the horn; it commands attention but not only that, it sounds great too. My car speakers are topnotch and play very well. All these items are stocked no modifications.
I really appreciate the steering responsive headlights. Incidentally, I’ve always had a love for the French automaker Citroen (especially the older models), and they introduced steering responsive headlights in the 1950’s with the DS. It only took me 70 years to get a car with this feature! Haha!
The Tucker automobile had that headlight feature. In my XTrek on a rainy night, I noticed it was a bit dark around corners. My eyes are getting old. I read that they skipped this on the XTrek.
Just read your comment - after posting pretty much the same thing! Citroen used it on the DS which also had high level rear indicators (maybe a precursor to high level brake lights) a d a cool one spoke steering wheel. They have always been pretty forward thinking. The hydrodynamic suspension, double glazing (of sorts).
I own a 2019 Subaru ascent, several of the features you mention as exclusive to the outback are actual standard on the trim level package across most equal level trim packaged subaru models. At the very least any limited or better equipped vehicles will have SRH, the driver's seat extender, and the cross bars.
I’ve had my 2022 outback premium fir about a month now and I LOVE IT! And, I already knew about the tips but, that’s because I researched the crap out of this before purchasing. 😉
I've had my 2022 Wilderness for a month now, had a 2017 Limited before that. I LOVED the '17, but the Wilderness is a BEAST! Never had any trouble, and I've several friends who have been driving them for years with no issues...sounds like "Patrick" is full of it!
the Forester's bars and rails are a lot less clunky-looking, and the crossbars can be removed or installed in only 10 minutes or so, if you haven't lost the Torx screwdriver that comes in the glovebox. I especially like removing them in sunroof season. (Remember Outback doesn't have the big sunroof, that may be another reason.)
@@marksandstrom4248 yeah, it doesn’t take that long to add or remove the crossbars on the forester. Even 10 minutes seems so much longer when compared to the less than 1 minute it takes to do the outback crossbars lol.
I'm one of the weirdos that always set up pin access, even on my Legacy. It's great to be able to turn off the proxy key, throw the keys in the locked car, go off to do whatever and just enter a pin at the trunk or hatch to get back in.
I knew about all the features except the luggage cover one. My wife and I went straight downstairs to check it out. Now I wonder if our old 2006 Forester had it too. We used to just leave the cover in the garage if it was going to be in the way.
Got my 2018 3.6R Outback recently. I like a lot of the newer features that Subaru has to offer but I prefer the larger engine. The 2.5i is a monster engine but it dogs down with any kind of weight. It is a bummer they stopped making the 3.6R
Quite a few people were upset when the 3.6R was discontinued. However, I've had a lot of good feedback on the new 2.4T that replaced it. Have you driven one of those yet?
@@alexpmo I have not test driven the newest out back yet but I did hear they are nice. Subaru does make nice turbos but i feel like they are cheaping out. I get 33 mpg highway with my out back and unless I can get the extra two cylinders in a new out back I will never be trading this in. Turbos are hard on engines. The idea of compressed air in a small engine doesn’t sound good to me. Just my preference but turbos just add another thing that breaks.
I 100% agree I have a 2010 legacy 3.6r and it's stupid fast and I love it . The 2.0 or2.4 are not even close. And the history with Subaru a turbo is a dumb idea.
Ok the lever to drop down the rear seats is genius! My 2018 escape is so difficult. I am planning to buy an outback this spring and this seals the deal.
You didn’t discuss the forward looking anti collision system, that brings on the brakes if you get too close to another car or object. Also rear Audio warning sensor...if you get to close to a object, but don’t rely on this better to get out and have a look before reversing. Another feature is sports mode that gives you about 15% more power for overtaking and climbing lanes. Do not leave this on though as your fuel consumption increases as well, so switch back to I mode for normal driving.
Sports mode only increases power at part-throttle, not at full-throttle. I've taken my '17 Forester XT to the drag strip (purely in the interests of science, of course) and both S and S# modes are actually measurably SLOWER (say, 0.5 sec and 2-3 mph in the 1/4 mile) than regular D(I) mode, because the transmission no longer runs the engine at a steady 5800 rpm (where horsepower peak comes, for my car). Instead S and S# give gear ratio shifts and the engine spends some time not a peak power.
Thanks Alex for all your videos. When I bought my 2024 outback my dealer handed me my key fob and said Thanks with little to no instructions on how to operate my new Subaru. Between your videos and the manuals I am slowly getting up to speed. Keep up the good work.
Just bought 2023 Wilderness. Awesome vehicle. Got dealer to throw in the Thule Aero extended crossbars on the deal - would love to learn more about applications and utilization, particularly roof top tents (RTTs). Thule website is utterly useless, they don't even list these particular crossbars anywhere on the site. Great content for a new first-time Subaru owner, thank you.
I just saw a camping tent at Costco (California) that shows an Outback on the box. This tent comes with an inflatable mattress to go into the back section of the car for sleeping and the tent that attaches to the open rear door area for cooking, dressing, etc.
Great feature shares. Thanks a ton for that logo hand wave opening trunk door. Continue doing more videos. I love the new way to unlock the gas tank cap. It was a hidden feature for me too😂
These aren’t really hidden features, a hidden feature to me is on the outback you can set the tailgate door to not open as high if your garage isn’t as tall/high like some others so the tail gate doesn’t hit the roof of the garage.
I'm sorry you feel that way Ray :/ These are the most commonly overlooked features that many people don't know about. I appreciate you taking the time to watch.
Ok thank you so much for this video! I just put my cargo cover in that hidden spot and i am about to move cross country so this is so freaking helpful!!!
Wow, what a video! I honestly didn't know about the crossbar thing! And WOW, I had no idea about the cargo cover storage!!! I had to take it out recently and I just left it in my garage because I didn't know where else to put it. The other features I did know about but you have really outdone yourself with this video. Great job 👍🏼👍🏼
I have the 2021 Ascent Limited. I love your videos and have learned so much. I would love an in depth on the light flashes on my windshield. I know they have to do with the eyesight & something I am doing wrong while driving. Also a video on the paddle shifters for low gears while in drive. For example, when descending a mountain road. Thanks
Thanks Becky! I'm glad you've found my videos to be helpful. I'm actually working on an upcoming video that talks about the eyesight so I'll be sure to talk about the lights in that! I'll also work on a video talking about the paddle shifters. Thanks!
Using the "-" paddle is exactly the same (to begin with) as shifting to "L" in an old-fashioned automatic (or downshifting a manual), except that there are additional progressive steps down in gears if you pull the paddle repeatedly. I am highly confident you don't need to worry about over-revving the engine; if you ask for too many downshifts, the car won't do the last one(s). The other thing that is different from old cars is, when you stop descending the hill, and step on the gas again, the car will pretty quickly decide on its own that you should be in regular "D". You don't have to hit "+" unless you want to.
After watching your video I went out and checked my 2006 Outback, and found that there is a space for the luggage cover under the floor on top of the spare wheel. I never knew before, but now that I do I'll keep it there until I need it. So, you learn something new every day. 😃👍
Alex, this is great. One suggestion - could you indicate what year you are "reviewing"? I recently purchased a used 2016 outback and I know it has some of these features, but don't want to be trying to activate something my car doesn't have! Thanks for letting me vent, love your channel!
Thanks! This video is referencing 2020 and newer models. However, a lot of these features like the integrated roof rails and the cargo storage area can be found on the older molders as well.
I bought a 18 in March. Late watching videos. Cool cool features. Will play around when it cools off here in Florida. Great tips. What rack do you recommend?
Thank you, this is great. I bought my 2022 Outback Touring edition Sept. 18th 22. I just discover on Nov. 16th that it has a CD player. Loving the car immensely.
Just found you. You’re awesome! I learned a lot about my car, thank you! Have you covered the purpose and how to secure the loose net that goes somewhere in the back? Thanks in advance. I can’t wait to go through your past videos as well. Thank you, again!
It's 4 am and freezing outside, but I'm tempted to go outside and see if I have the storage compartment for the cover in my 2016 outback. Also, every time I turn on dark winding roads that are ill-lit and my headlights illuminate the road I fall in love with my outback all over again. I feel safe, she's reliable, and she's a comfortable ride for long distances. I couldn't be happier. Thanks for an informative video.
Wow - never knew the glove box had its own heating system. Not sure how I’d use it (maybe heating up gloves?) & it usually has the paperwork in it, but good to know.
Great channel - waiting on deliver of my 2022 Outback XT. Really looking forward to it! stepping away from my 2019 Sienna for a smaller ride. Love learning about these features. Hope they are all on the XT!
Thanks Gary! Yes, all of the features mentioned are on the Outback XT, except for the seat cushion extension. The XT is my favorite trim 😃 What color did you decide to go with?
@@alexpmo Fall Green Metallic. I think that is what it is called. Happy the Subaru dealer in Flemington NJ had that color on an Outback. . BTW Always wondered what the three strips on my Sienna drivers door were for. Now I know! Thanks Loke many others...I wish either you were closer to my location or me to yours!! Great videos.
@@alexpmo Love your content, but my 2021 Outback XT Limited DEFINITELY has the thigh bolster extensions, although I am also only 5'8 and don't use them. Mine is Magnetite Gray with the two-tone Titanium Gray leather interior--not as commonly seen as the all Slate Black interior but I think it brightens up the inside a lot...and it stays clean! I had to order it to get one, as I couldn't find this combination in stock at a nearby dealer last year. The Titanium interior is only available on Abyss Blue Pearl, Ice Silver, and Magnetite Gray, while Slate Black is offered with all 9 exterior colors.
HI Alex, I've had my Outback (AKA Otto T. Subaru), yes I name my cars! for a little over a month now. Love the car. Great ride and the 4 wheel is fantastic, The car sticks on the road like no other car I have every had. Otto has the turbo under his hood. It really powers the car when needed. I have 1600 miles on the car. I love the way with the turbo it can move along when needed. Back in the early 60s when I started driving, any car that could get to 60 in less than 6 seconds was consider a very fast car. Some version of the Corvettes could, I have not 'timed' Otto at his best, but according to specs he can get to 60 in well under 6 seconds somewhere around 5.5 or so. SO, I finally got the car I wanted when I was 17. Now all I have to do is find someone with a 63 Corvette or so who wants to race!!! Otto has what it takes!! Go Subaru!!
Can you do a video about the secret button on the tailgate to unlock the car?
Yep, I actually just finished that one up! ruclips.net/video/uBKE7_Yn3y0/видео.html

I just took possession of our 2022 Outback Wilderness, Geyser Blue. I am in love 🥰
I love my subaru.
I find little hidden things about the car all the time, and its so cool the way the car makes you like it more and more as time goes on lol
Thank you , I have a 2022 Outback on order and it is my first Subaru, so your video was very helpful!!
I bought a 2005 Subaru Outback a month ago and so far it’s my favorite car I’ve owned!! And I’ve owned a few cars. When I build my credit up a little higher, will definitely be looking into the newer models!!
Do it bro, I believe in you. Got my 2019 outback last year and I absolutely love this car. Probably will always have one from here on out.
Such a great video I just got my 2022 outback this week! Best decision I have ever made I am so excited to customize it to my preferences. I love that I can have my high beams on at all times and if another vehicle is around me it will automatically shut the high beams off and turn them back on after the car has passed.
Thanks Ashley! Enjoy your new Outback! Let me know if you ever have any questions on it.
Does the 19 outback standard have this feature?
Hey Alex,
Enjoy your channel very much.
So cool you could show others some tricks!
Lol nope, I didn’t scrape the paint. 😂 although it does sound like it. Just slid the crossbar along the other one, which makes that horrible noise.
@@alexpmo he showed it when he was in the back area.
Got my 2022 Outback Premium 2 months ago. I knew a few of these, this helps a lot.
Hey Alex, thanks to your many helpful videos, I bought a new 2020 Outback Wilderness, and I just got the delivery! I would have definitely bought it from you, if I didn’t live in another state. Thanks again, Alex!
Hhhhhjjjjj
The leg extender is a game changer! I traded my ‘19 for a ‘20 just for that!
What a life saver. You totally explained features that I didn't know about!
Do you have the limited with Harmon Kardon speakers? I think they sound great, I own a 2017 limited
@@anniss5908 I’ve seen a few of the higher end xtreks that have the bending headlights. It comes down to trim level I believe
@@anniss5908And look what happened to Ford after the introduction of the Tuvker. 😔
@@larrytysoe2949 Not sure? I missed that.
I own a 2019 Subaru ascent, several of the features you mention as exclusive to the outback are actual standard on the trim level package across most equal level trim packaged subaru models. At the very least any limited or better equipped vehicles will have SRH, the driver's seat extender, and the cross bars.
Found your video to be very helpful for this model and I look forward to future updates in tuning into your channel.
I'm not sure if the newer models still have this feature, but for the 2012 era, the rear seats recline. Huge game changer for extended road trips.
Yep, the new models have the seat recline also!
Wait I have the 2012
@@alexpmo How??
@@BloodyRaider ruclips.net/video/jRB0jma98Vw/видео.html
@AlexPrestigiacomo. I have a 2013 model....please explain! I never heard about this! It would be fantastic for road trips!
I’ve had my 2022 outback premium fir about a month now and I LOVE IT! And, I already knew about the tips but, that’s because I researched the crap out of this before purchasing. 😉
Happy to hear you’re enjoying it so far! 😃
How much is that suv??
@@elizabethdiazpreciado5655 Depending where you live. Where I live, the BASE model starts at about $25k for a brand new 2022.
@Patrick Baptist you are untitled to your own opinion.
I've had my 2022 Wilderness for a month now, had a 2017 Limited before that. I LOVED the '17, but the Wilderness is a BEAST!
Never had any trouble, and I've several friends who have been driving them for years with no issues...sounds like "Patrick" is full of it!
Great info as always! Love surprises!
Thanks Roxanne! Glad you enjoyed the video 😊
Great vid as always! I wish the Forester has that roof rail crossbar feature 😔
Thanks Austin! Yeah, I’m not sure why they haven’t included that on the forester or really any of the other models.
the Forester's bars and rails are a lot less clunky-looking, and the crossbars can be removed or installed in only 10 minutes or so, if you haven't lost the Torx screwdriver that comes in the glovebox.
Use it when we go to the water park. Take an Apple Watch for connectivity. No waterproof swim pouch necessary.
@@CaliVapor i used it when i went fishing, or was too lazy to walk back in the house too get my keys lol.
Always informative. Thank you.
Thanks Larry! I appreciate you watching
Tip 6 was the only one I did not know! I had been putting it in my garage. Thank you!
So much easier than storing it in the garage or forgetting where you last put it when you need it 😅
I knew about all the features except the luggage cover one. My wife and I went straight downstairs to check it out. Now I wonder if our old 2006 Forester had it too. We used to just leave the cover in the garage if it was going to be in the way.
Yeah, most people just leave it in the garage 😂 I’m glad Subaru addressed that over the years
@Joe Second Yeah, also in 2016 Levorg
Thank you for this, I’m going to check this out with the outback’s we have at work
You're welcome!
Ok the lever to drop down the rear seats is genius! My 2018 escape is so difficult.
I am planning to buy an outback this spring and this seals the deal.
Makes life so much easier!
Getting my Outback this Saturday. First new car I ever owned. Pretty jazzed for it.
Congrats!
@@alexpmo Thanx!
I am on my second outback limited, this time its an XT 2021...GREAT F*CKIN CAR!! Enjoy yours!
Thanks Allan! Yes, lots of features on the new Subarus!
@@marksandstrom4248 that makes sense. I’ve only ever noticed subtle differences between the sport modes and intelligent.
Expecting my new Outback this month! Thanks for the info!
Thank you Alex. I learn something new from each of your video's about my forester. Keep up the good work.
I totally forgot about the memory tailgate feature. That's a good one to include in a future video. So thanks for the idea! I appreciate it!
Hidden features where ??, NOTHING-BURGER. A waste of 6 min's of any viewer's life.
I'm sorry you feel that way Ray :/ These are the most commonly overlooked features that many people don't know about. I appreciate you taking the time to watch.
@@alexpmo Thanks for the reply,l was a bit hard on you,but having a top secret banner is deceiving.
Your forgiven and l hope you understand my point
Agreed, “top secret” is way overstated!
I'd like to see lots more videos of how people can disengage the horn from blowing when the car is locked or unlocked. Thank you.
Ok thank you so much for this video! I just put my cargo cover in that hidden spot and i am about to move cross country so this is so freaking helpful!!!
Just in time. Glad you found this helpful. Safe travels!
Great tips - very helpful, thanks!
Just some of the great reasons I love my ‘20 Abyss Blue Outback Limited!! A great car to own!! Thanks Subaru!!
Thank you, this is exactly what I need..👍
I just got a 2023 Outback and had no idea about 4 of the features. Thank you!
Intuitive, simple and to the point. Excellent video buddy!
Thanks Richard!
Thank you so much. My 2020 Outback obviously has features I was unaware of.
I've got an appointment to look at outbacks tomorrow! Now I'll know what to look for. Yay!
Ok this was actually so helpful! I had no idea about the crossbars.
It took me a while to figure that one out!
Alex
Thank you for all the tips. Looking forward to more in the future.
Thank you! I love learning new things about my 2022 Subaru Outback!
Happy to help! Thanks for watching Cathy
Thanks. I didn't know about the underfloor storage for the cargo cover.
After watching your video I went out and checked my 2006 Outback, and found that there is a space for the luggage cover under the floor on top of the spare wheel. I never knew before, but now that I do I'll keep it there until I need it. So, you learn something new every day. 😃👍
I had no idea about the cargo cover storage! Thank you!
Didn't know about the rear cargo cover storage area. Thanks for that.
I have a 2015 Outback 3.6 and have most of those features, but the one thing I wish mine had is electronic folding mirrors.
Very helpful. Thx for making this video.
I bought a 18 in March. Late watching videos. Cool cool features. Will play around when it cools off here in Florida. Great tips. What rack do you recommend?
Thule and Yakima both make good quality roof rack products. I'd check them out
Have you done any videos on older Outbacks? I have a 2011Outback just hoping for some more information. Thanks.
Thank you, this is great. I bought my 2022 Outback Touring edition Sept. 18th 22. I just discover on Nov. 16th that it has a CD player. Loving the car immensely.
Love the vid! Tripod wouldn’t help you show the Steering Responsive Headlights though… that feature is only active above a certain speed.
Oh I wasn’t aware of that. Good to know!
Hi, thanx for very informative videos. Could you do a video on the Subaru intelligent speed limiter?
Just found you. You’re awesome! I learned a lot about my car, thank you!
Have you covered the purpose and how to secure the loose net that goes somewhere in the back? Thanks in advance. I can’t wait to go through your past videos as well. Thank you, again!
You're welcome! The cargo net requires two additional hooks to install it in the car. This can easily be done at any local Subaru retailer.
Very informative! I learned more about my newly achieved Subaru. Thank You.
I just ordered a new Touring XT. Your videos were a big help
Happy to help! Let me know if you have any questions
Thanks for the features explain dear. It was really helpful
Great Informative Video!
Thanks for watching! Did you ever check to see if you had the storage compartment?
Happy the Subaru dealer in Flemington NJ had that color on an Outback. .
Go Subaru!!
Well deserved like button push! Good job sir. Good job.
Thanks Mary Ann!
