Hi, my Addi does not like 4 medium weight yarn which ist too bad. But DK works great.

Try an choose 4 weight yarn that is smoother feeling. Bernat super value seems to be good in a lot of colours. Some colours are course feeling and they are harder to work with.

No worries. Don’t give up on 4 weight if Red Heart is what you have been using. It’s a courser yarn and hard to work with. Rub your hand over the fibers before you buy to see if it has a softer or a courser feel. If it’s softer it will work.
