I had the good fortune to meet Rich once, and he was the most personable, down to earth guy imaginable. He gave me an autographed picture, and actually apologized for not having anything cool to give me. A true class act. Unfortunately, due to a vindictive ex wife, I no longer have that picture.
Eddie Murphys Mr. Robinsons Neighborhood skit came two years later... just saying.... SNL's second cast was a the switcheroo between SNL and SCTV which still had its original workshop on the campus of The University Of Chicago. They were certainly aware of Rich Koz's work
Who are the other horror hosts he mentions? I would love to see them, especially if as he says they do not interrupt a classic film like Sven always does!
Rich is literally a national treasure.
Shhhhhhhh he’s Svengoolie
A safe show for a family to watch with no innuendos, it's so great to have!
There's innuendos
The original, Son of, and 90s/00s version ALL had innuendos lol but they were done awesomely
I've been watching since the days of Bishop, and still watch. The centerpiece of my Saturday evening. "Calling all stations!"

Tim Kazurinsky ripped it off
This aired the day before MTV debuted!
Thus changed the world as we know it.

He reminds me of Dr Paul Bearer in Florida. That must have been fun.

Channel 32 was so good before it went to FOX
The MetroMedia days....
He's really cute without all that make-up;)
Yes he is!
i didn't know he was good looking.who knew.
THX THX :)
He was so skinny back then!
Why did he drop the accent?
My guess would be that it just got harder to maintain the accent as he got older.
