- Join me as I go on a short adventure looking for a Scottish Cairn. These stone markers could be burial sites or markers. I was informed one was on the land where I was staying so i thought it would be fun to find it and no railways in sight for a change!
I agree with you Middy. What a beautiful place to be buried.
Thanks for watching. I can definitely think of worse places!
Definitely something different from what you’ve done before on this channel, and all the more fascinating for it. Thank you for showing us this little piece of history, and in such picturesque surroundings too.
Thanks David and thanks for your continued support. It was such a lovely setting it seemed a shame not to catch it in some form. This video fell in my lap somewhat so couldn't resist. There's 1 more video from Scotland which is just as different again...
You were correct that was different .
Certainly a stunning part of the world with those views across the valley . It is the beauty of somewhere like that , history can go untouched .
Looking forward to your next exploration !
Thank you and thanks for watching it certainly was a bit different but when I was told it was nearby I couldn't resist and thought I would share the experience! Normal service is now sort of resumed!!
@@MiddyExplores Would have been rude to not hunt out . Worth sharing for the view .
Hope you didn't get bitten by the midges! 😮
I was alright until the last day and then they had an absolute feast! Not the easiest area to navigate!!
If it's a cairn then it's pre-celtic by as much as 2 - 2½ thousand years.
Thank you for watching and for the information. I admit it's not my area of expertise so any pointers are always welcome.
