thank you so very much. i need to replace the starter and am doing it by just removing the air box and the carb. ( not removing the tank ( another yuotube guy shows it) I did not know how to remove the carb. thanks again

Would it help - if you have toke air filter box off first? Is there video about it?
I put a new carburetor on a yamaha bruin 350 4x4 and my over flow on the bottom will not stop dripping
Craig. Where did you get the carb from? If knockoff - then those are throw away and never do that again type of mistakes. If OEM you can replace needle valve and that will stop the leak. Mine won't start. The air filter has dry rotted. Do you think parts of the filter are now in the carburetor?
There is a good chance some pieces are. But more the pieces wont be in the bottom of the carburetor and shouldn't effect the starting. Does it turn over ok? You'll want to watch this video I have coming out soon: ruclips.net/video/5XSod9hBlg8/видео.html

What about just removing the airbox? Seems all stuck in there.
Removing the air box is more like ripping out. Be sure to remove the battery so the plastics can bend better.
Jeez mate, you can't half talk.....
And that's why I don't buy yamaha garbage you need one full day just to remove a carburetor i can remove it out of my honda in 3 minutes
um yeah took me like 3 minutes too
If it took you a day to remove a carburetor you shouldn't be working on one.
Mine got out in like 5 mins..
