    The tuner and airbox makes sense to make motor happier and run properly, you gain 2-3 hp also which is nice. The exhaust and especially the duals is completely useless.. 500-800 for exhaust when it adds 1-1.5 hp is not noticeable and completely useless. Plus the grizzly idles soo damn high all the time it is loud always, even with quiet core in.. everyone out there skip the exhaust always… use your money on a winch and skid-plates or something that protects the bike and helps you in other areas.

    • @ATVScene
      @ATVScene Год назад +1

      I'm not sure about that. Yeah I think it's just some weight, or maybe color coded springs?? I think the Kodiak has heavier weights and thicker springs for a smoother feel and lighter on the Grizzly for more aggressive riding.

    • @ATVScene
      @ATVScene Год назад

      I don't think it would perform as well. I think without the hole in the lid it wouldn't be able to gulp more air, which is the main ingredient in making more power. The outerwear is very durable and basically repels water... but I probably should have dipped it in water to see how waterproof it really is. This is a good question though. If you plan on doing a lot of river crossings I don't blame you for not wanting to do this.. If so, I bet Eric has a solution for you - maybe a bigger air intake tube?? You might hit him up and ask.
      Report back here if you find a more water-proof system.

      I will say I agree, wifes got 2020 grizz 700, I have 2019 king 750, daughter has 2019 570 xt canam, and the 570 twin will out run them both with ease,not even a hope or prayer of keeping up out of the hole she rolls off and just keeps pulling away

    This is crazy.. a canam 570 has more power stock then a gross with all these mods.. If your buying a grizzly for power then you are slow on the head lol.. you buy a grizzly cause of comfort and reliability… if you want power you but any 570+ Polaris or canam lol.. come on people it isn’t hard to understand this..

    14:45 of course you can't get lower on fuel than stock because it is so primitive tuning.. it just says to the ecu that engine is cooler than it should be richer 🤣 it is so dumb, how about other important variables...

      @@TOMMYVQ sorry tommy I disagree. If you want to go fast you buy a go fast machine not a trail machine. The Grizzly is built to be a dependable machine. When you start doing stupid things like this there is a price to pay down the road. I am 63 years old and I have learned a lot after 50 years of riding off road. Doing these mods for a couple of HP. No thank you. Stock is good enough for me 😊

    Yamaha Grizzly is officially shit.
    Yamaha dropped the ball with the 708. Again going back to the 686. Then again not upgrading it with the 850. Yamaha has forgotten the Grizzly and Viking.
    3 strikes Yamaha you lost a customer here.
    I'd rather go with a Cfmoto than a Yamaha ATV. And I did sold my 2016 Grizzly 708 and bought a Cforce 800xc

      Regardless, I would take a Yamaha over a CFMoto any day.

      I got 3 miles on my Grizzly then a electric problem that took 88 days to figure out along with 2 others down the road. 3 calipers locked up. Foot brake pedal locked up. Blown both rear shocks. Body Clips rusted and seized up. Frame rusted out within 1.5 years and the motor needed to be rebuilt at 288 miles. Oh and I bent two 2" tow receivers. Trying to put in food plots. Yamaha's tow receiver are no where near HD. My Yamaha spent more time in the shop than it did in my posession.
      13k is what I spent total for my 2016 Grizzly 708 eps. I spent 8k cash on my cfmoto Cforce 800xc. Definitely more machine for the dallor. The only thing I miss from Yamaha is they're CVT system.
