    I bought a red 02 Grizzly 660 a few years ago but unfortunately haven’t had the chance to take it out much yet. It has 5,100 miles and 787 hours. It is in somewhat rougher condition with the plastics faded and some dents and dings but still runs and drives pretty well. I paid just under $2K for it which I think was a pretty decent deal. I really like these Yamahas over a Polaris. Wouldn’t mind up grading to a used Grizzly 700 someday for the EFI and power steering.

    Cool mountain views - thanks for that. I too just bought a 1998 Grizzly 600 for $2000 with 5.2K miles. Have to rectify the motor work but looks pretty with new paint. Any tire recommendations? That AT25 x 10-10 original rear tire is hard to find.

    Looked like a nice day to climb that hill. I have a 05 660. I did notice you didn’t bang off of your rev limiter in all wheel drive. My Grizzly won’t let me rev it up that high. Even with the over ride button pushed in. Did you modify it or is mine lacking something. Have you ever been to the Hatfield McCoy trails ? They are a blast. You can’t ride in this much snow down there. Really steep switch backs. Thanks for the upload and ride along.

    • @Valetic6
      @Valetic6 3 месяца назад +1

      Mine lets me rev like that. Did you ever find out what it was? Did the carb need a rejet or did you need to tear down the engine or something?

    • @joegilly1523
      @joegilly1523 3 месяца назад

      @@Valetic6No I still can’t hammer it that Hard in all wheel drive I can go but not full throttle. I think it’s the limiter I didn’t get enough snow this year to play in it. I didn’t even plow,put that on for nothing. By the time I got to go out in the snow it was gone . That’s not how winter is supposed to be where I live , In upstate NY.

    • @Valetic6
      @Valetic6 3 месяца назад

      @@joegilly1523 what does it do? It just feels and sounds better at 80-90% instead of 100% throttle? Mine does that to some degree. I’m not sure what it is yet. I assumed the carb needs to be tuned or something. It doesn’t like 1/3 or 1/2 throttle either. I just bought it recently. It sat forever and they threw a new carb and battery and it came back to life so I took it.

      Truth. Although I just don't ride this thing enough to justify newer, bigger tires. I'm on my dirtbike most of the time. These Maxxis Bighorns still have years of life in them at my pace. I'd probably end up with a new machine before getting larger rubber for the Grizzly. :)
