Catching my personal best Lake Trout from a canoe

I have become obsessed with everything that is Lake Trout over the past 6 years. Their ecology fascinates me. I like how they are only in deep cold lakes, and that they spend their time roaming the dark depths in the summer only to come shallow for a few weeks in the spring and fall. I like how they live for a long time and are smart versatile hunters. Fishing for lake trout like i do, you have to take in the whole picture and study the lake it self which makes every experience fishing for them a gigantic blue puzzle. In this video i go out on a 3 day trip in search of the biggest trout of my life by using everything I've learned about them over the years.
