Had an FJ40, 2 FJ60 Landrruisers , 2 FJ Cruisers, and a right hand drive 80 series Landcruiser and now i picked up a GX470. I was looking for Tundra with the 4.7l motor but couldn't find anything decent. I found a GX470 so I took a chance and bought it. I Installed the Eibach lift but went with a smaller tire. The more I drive this truck, the more I like it. I haven't really challenged it like you have but that day will come. I'm in Alberta as well, so i might run into you out in the mud! CHEERS!

Off-road Love
My ultimate dilemma is trying to decide between an FJ or GX, 35s happening no matter which one. FJ has the locker, unique look, easier to fit 35s, probably a little better on the trail. GX has v8, luxury and comfort, reliability, better on road manners, just slightly less capable off-road….gonna be a tough decision
What did you decide on?
v8 every day of the week. GX for life!

Amazing car and location
Not hating on your build, because I do plan on getting a GX470, but if I was going to get something to off-road, it would be a UTV. They can do everything off-roading better 100X fold. I plan on using the GX470 as my UTV towing vehicle, because it can get me places I need to go or be a great “random last minute trip up the local mountain in a heated cabin” type of vehicle, but it just isn’t nearly as much fun as our current RZR XP4 Turbo S.

Amazing capability of the Lexus I think about new car and Toyota prado 150 is on my list but here in Scotland not many accessory you can get not like in Australia. Good one.
