Fantastic build. Really curious about your background, there's a fair number of technically difficult design elements you have there. Was this 100% DIY, if so that's pretty impressive both in selection and implementation.
I was curious of this too. I am watching more and more of these type things, including sailing set ups. Just seems like people that are already well off from their parents and can go do stuff like this and become "influencers". Hey Mike. Hope you are well out there! I was about to post some under-thought, snarky comment about “living” in your Lexus, but now here I am again, scoping out your rig, checking out your layout, RTT, and office. Soooo …. Ummm, … thank you for sharing your buildout, and your home. Sick rig, brah! Hard to pick a better (modern) platform, and you have decked it out, super sano! Not about to clone anyone else’s setup, but wisdom suggest we “go to school” on the endeavors of others. To that end, you have already taught me a great deal, and I look forward to your exploits, travels, AND tribulations ( no … I don’t wish you any ill, but life on the road, has its pot-holes, and flat tires, eh?). Yep. Bout to “smash those buttons, likes, and notifications”, so I can borrow a cup of your freedom, a tablespoon of your ingenuity, a pinch of your sensibilities, and a heaping handful of doing what is right for you. If you ever cross paths with a lanky, blonde, space-oddity from Flagsaff, AZ, driving a black Tahoe, in some remote corner of wilderness, just smile and nod. I bet we have the whole world to talk about, by the glow of a fire. Thanks, man, and until then, be well!! In the meantime, I’ll offer up our mountain views, safe parking, laundry, and home, if you pass this way 😎 GOOD trade 🤙 - S-Dub

Great GX build. I to have just started and overland build. Dobinson’s 2.5 lift and 33” tires. Sleeping platform in the back. Asking this because I want to educate myself--all the stuff you equipped your car with look super expensive, how did you afford all that? I suppose living on the road isn't as expensive as renting an apartment but how do you even start? How long did you build your mobile home before you "moved in"? Thanks for the video, very enlightening. :) safe travels!

Fantastic build, love what you’ve done with it, congrats !
In the meantime, I’ll offer up our mountain views, safe parking, laundry, and home, if you pass this way 😎 GOOD trade 🤙

Him: "now let me show you my office"
Pulls out a piece of wood...
Me: "aight, imma head out"
Wow, that is the most amazing use of space in your Lexus; great design and excellent way of setting up your "office"! Really enjoyed this, thanks.
This ain’t a 4runner lol, that’s a freaking land cruiser
Tha't not a land cruiser, thats a mini house on wheels, jesus the price of what he has in his car is worth more than his car itself!
@marxist google It's an LC 120. Proper overland vehicle on frame with low range, although designed and used mostly to cruise around town, but it's a great base for off road mods. And it's very far from being cheap
more specifically Landcruiser Prado.
@@arminabdi It's called simply Land Cruiser in my and neighbouring countries actually, but yeah
GX isn't the Land Cruiser, the larger LX is the Lexus version of the Land Cruiser.
Sick build! Very inspiring as I have a '17 GX 460. Hopefully my last combustion engine vehicle until I can afford a Rivian R1S. You need to pimp out one of those!
I SMASHED THAT LIKE BUTTON AND SUBSCRIBED.
YES! SMASH THAT BUTTON! Haha I thought about throwing in the cliche tag line. But didn't.
Great GX build. I to have just started and overland build. Dobinson’s 2.5 lift and 33” tires. Sleeping platform in the back. We just returned back East from a weeklong trip in the black hills of South Dakota. Can’t wait to get out again. Keep up the great content and enjoyed the fact there was no background music to cover up all the information you had to share.
Also interested! A sequel video detailing the financial side of what seems like a big journey would be great!
well if ya don't have a house this compared is pretty damn cheap.
Killer rig mate .. I've subscribed because I feel like this is the early days of what will be an awesome overlander channel. You need to do a camping and cooking video next plz.
Thanks! Finding the time between traveling and work is tough to make content, but it’ll get there! Just posted another
How do you manage internet and what do you do to generate enough money to live this lifestyle...? (Vehicle fuel, food, etc.)
He said he's a software engineer
No way sir. THat is one sick loadout. When the apocalypse hits Ima be calling you up.
