Do you ever monitor tire temps when you’re aired down and going this fast on dirt? Maybe it’s not for an extended period of time… I’m mostly just curious. 4:35
great video !!! what are your pros and cons from the V84R and the GX470 love them both, just wondering what you guys like more one to the other ,,, thanks
Great content, my man. The scratches of doom are part of the journey. I’m based in Utah and tool around in an old L322 and 110… there be scratches on my shit as well. Had an old 87 two door 22re 4-runner and that thing got beat to shit. Making me want to pick up a GX.
great content thank you for sharing. definitely making me want a GX470 Random tip for anyone cutting trees/ logs. if you cut the side of the log that's in tension the bar of the saw won't get stuck like it started to at 14:44. At 14:44 the bottom of the log appears to be in tension because it's supported to the left and right of where you're cutting, so you would want to complete the cut at the bottom of the log to prevent bar pinching. When you are cutting in a spot that is outside of where the log is supported, you would cut the top of the log to prevent bar pinching.
You should always take some hedge trimmer and loppers to clear the trail when needed. No pen striping for me thank you. Although my friends do make fun of me.
FYI Racehorse Pass is closed on the BC side after Sept. 1. Lots of trail cams. Check Alexander Creek MVCA. Also is Deadmans not an OHV only trail in AB?
Umm it comes down to trying to preserve the area and if this video got a lot of views I don’t want to be responsible for a ton of people going there and potentially doing damage to the trail, leaving garbage, starting a forest fire ect. If you want to find the trail I gave enough info to find it with a little more research is how I see it.
That gx470 looks so nice. I missed out on getting a few and ended up with my 2011 Fj Cruiser TTE. Just something about taking a somewhat luxury SUV and beefing it up. Definitely a neck breaker. Awesome video as always.
I saw your convoy coming home on that Sunday. Great looking rigs! I was in a stock GX (w/ TRD wheels, so fanboy) as you guys were turning onto hwy 22 headed North. Nice work on telling the story of your trip and thanks for sharing!
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
I really enjoy the music on your channel. Shazam does not recognize any songs on your channel. 😂 nothing in the description below. Mind to send it through an email? 😂🤣 Thanks!
Glad you liked it! I pay for royalty free music but unfortunately that means it does not show up on apple music or Spotify. The website I use is called Soundstripe
Well, I better at this to the list of places to check out! EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that Deadman Pass is an ATV on the Alberta side. I will not be driving it. Respect the trail system, or expect to lose it.
Unfortunately this is not a legal truck trail on the Alberta side and is restricted to ATVs only. All I'm saying is publicity for these things will IMO get more trails closed.
@@Skruteas After looking at the Livingstone map I see that. Logan did mention Racehorse pass so maybe they came back down and did that back to AB. We will have to see. Yeah, I agree, I make sure I am on designated trails for that exact reason. If we don't respect it we are going to lose it.
Did you wrap your headlights in like a translucent rainbow film? I love that little detail. If you have the link that’d be awesome, all the stuff I found is way too loud with the colors
Always watch videos like this and get stoked to head out to hit the trail, then I remember that none of my friends are into this and don’t have 4x4s. So tight going out alone knowing you can get stranded and die
Try joining a local FB Off Road group. There's usually asy least one close to anyone. There's General 4x4 Groups, brand specific (Jeep, Toyota, etc), and model specific groups (Cherokee, Wrangler, Fj, 4runner, H3, Discovery. Etc). These groups are great, especially for people like you, and I, who's friends don't offroad. It exoses you to new people with the same interest in offroading, and expands your circle of friends.
Hey Logan, Sweet Rigs u'all got there. Say, question for ya.. I see u guys mostly run approx: 35 inch tires on the trucks. My son and i both have 4th gen runner V8 and a 2004 gx470, both running 33s, 3" lifts. How much of a difference has running 35s made for you?? And do you think it was worth going up in size from the 33s?? Worth the xtra weight and power loss?? Thankyou, love the Videos...Pete
Nice video and nice rigs. Looking forward to the next part. I have a 2007 4runner stock and looking to lift it. You mentioned wheels and a lift how much of a lift do you think you needed for that adventure. Thanks
Great videos. The scratches just mean you're getting off the beaten path. When you're ready to disregard your bodywork completely check out Rose Pass a couple hours west & north of there.
Loved the vlog! I spend quite a bit of time in the Livingstone area, so I really dig the local content. Looked like an absolute blast! Looking forward to seeing day 2!🍻
@@LoganKingMedia I immediately noticed that grill too! I'm waiting on my order to arrive this weekend. Any difficulty or problems installing it? What about the 3 lights? I'd be interested any advice! Thanks for the GX content 👊🇺🇸👍

Snow bones- the other side
Apparently you did since you were able to post. Think I like the look of the GX best. Funny how this vehicle is just starting to become popular
i can feel my insides knotting when i hear the branches absolutely kerfuckin your paint.
What is the exhaust setup on your GX in this video? Sounds amazing!

Just come here. People are friendly and will bring you to the trails.

Why are all the rigs outfitted with Duratracks?
You expect me to crack a cold one at 9am? Fineeeeeeee
haha do it to be cool!
whats that intro song called i cant find it anywhere ??????? lol
I would like to have a built GX, I really would. If I do that, I have to sell my built TJ or my built Excursion and I love them both so...
Who sings the last song? the other side?
Snow bones - the other side
Did you regear the GX?
No not yet!
Love your videos man! Got a quick question though, are you all running 6 or 8 ply tires?
Miss my FJ; like them 4th gen 4Runners, I’ll either get a V8 4th gen or a GX 470.
The V8 is nice to have!
@@LoganKingMediaWnat do you prefer having driven both? The FJ or the Gx470? Leaning gx470 myself
Beautiful scenery. Great video footage.
Thank you!!
Amazing off road video.
Thank you!
I wish we had your 4.7L V8 in our Prado’s in Australia.
How do you not run out of gas?
We are travelling at a pretty slow pace, so in 8 hours we only travelled like 50miles. However, we did bring extra gas just in case.
what is the name/model of your wheel bracket (fifth wheel) on lexus?
Man those branches on the sides of the trucks are killing me. Not sure I could do that lol. Great vid
Yeah that part was painful haha
This is so good man!!!! Take me with you guys !
Thanks dude!! We want to!
Dude we all want you there!!

The budget required to travel like you do is on a whole different level to where I operate. In other news, I really liked the intro music!
Lol bro I felt this heavy
Have a link for that spare tire carrier??? Looks great!
Thanks! Link for it should be in the description of the video
Literally as soon as I sent comment and looked through your vids again I found the installation one. Pretty cool! Had no idea it went in reciever.
That’s awesome! Yeah I love how easy the install is.
