This is definitely the same people who make Divinity: Original Sin. They got the narrator to change their accent, then went on with the camera work that sometimes doesn't work out right, and the very innocent sense of humor.
These animals have an int score way higher than three, judging by the conversations. Its a bit emersion breaking. Like that clip where one bear casually says to another; Could you move, i need to use the elevator. Where would a bear with 3 int have any idea about the concept of an elevator? I like the idea of the animal speaking and such very much. But i feel like they didnt really think it through too much. It would be nice if it really felt like you were trying to communicate with a lesser inteligent being, just the barrier of getting them to understand what you mean and your concepts, and THEN getting them to do what you want. You got to level with the animals, not speak to them about elevators You know? Anyway its a minor gripe, as i am 95% positive about this game.
Most of this comes off as immersion and lore breaking in a way. I would like something similar to what you suggest too, but it seems like the devs didn't waste any time thinking of stuff like that, and completely went in for gags. Almost half the interactions in this video is are just jokes. The squirrels dancing in an almost cartoonish manner to drown out the girl singing, the beer trying to tell his story, etc. It honestly looks like half of the Druid's interactions will be humor garbage and not anything actually interesting.
@@Amonny It's a 100+ hour game with _one_ scene that 1. you have to be a druid to get, 2. you have to choose to enter the scene, 3. it's between two consenting adults, 4. nothing is actually shown, only implied, 5. it's played as a joke, and 6. it's set in a magical world where things like dragonborn, minotaurs and tortles exist... I wonder how those came to be? Maybe there are more pressing issues you could worry about instead of ruining this for yourself. But you do you, I guess.
I understand your frustration and too want the cool stuff, but higher level cap doesn't mean much since you'd then squash the existing encounters; plus there are mods that make you OP.
I've played close to 400 hours of EA and haven't seen half of these interactions.. this game is amazing!
