I've said it before this kid is the hardest working man in industry. Always working for something that's different to catch today's pressured fish. 40 plus years on water tells me this technique will work!
You always have very good information on all your videos, thank you plus I appreciate I never hear any bad language that’s always a plus and personal. Thanks again
Bro, love the animated, but, they don’t do justice to your library of wisdom u share. Love all the upgrades. Hope this keeps food on table and larger and larger garages n boats 🤙 Glad 2b back
Im pretty sure this is THE MOST informative video ive ever watched!! You are WAAAY beyond your years in the knowledge you have to be as young as you are!! Im getting ready to subscribe as soon as i finish my comment!! PLEASE..keep the info. coming & THANK YOU for what you are doing for us!!! Tight lines , bent rods & GOD BLESS YOU & YOURS young man!!!
Ive been watching this channel trying to improve my offshore game for the past few years. This past weekend, I decided to try an obscure brushpile I found when the lake was drawn down, literally held together with twine and a brick. Threw a Neko rigged Senko into it, very first cast, I saw a big blob on my Livescope come out and absolutely inhale it, a nice solid four.
I have been using the VMC bands and pliers and they allow the hook to be in the proper position for wacky or Neko and allows for a better hook up and less missed fish. Great video I will be putting this to good use👍😎❤️🎣
I like those weedles hooks & will definitely be trying those hooks & to swim them both through different depths. I've been fishing neko & wacky rigs couple years now & have put alot of fish in the kayak.but haven't tried swimming them before. I mostly use 8 & 10 lb floro. I still haven't learned the FG knot, I just use uni to uni but I haven't ever had my uni connection knot fail yet so I've been happy with it & it's quick & easy too. I'll put 2 cast lengths of floro on & just use braid as a backer to save $ on floro always good to try new things & see what other guys come up with. .
thanks for the great video, I have learned. my question would be the braid to leader, you use several feet of leader, I only use 3 - 4 feet. is there a min./max legnth of leader? thanks in advance..
interesting to see this video pop up - i was accidentally getting hits on my wacky worm last week in super shallow water when i was reeling it in. It was waking the surface like a topwater and the fish seemed to like it but it could have just been luck
hey Jonny! Dude this year that’s need my fav new weedless hook too - neko finesse weedless. I will also say that for strictly wacky rigging, the owner jungle weedless is awesome. Same titanium weed guard. 👍
What is the difference between the Neko and a flick shake? I understand that on a Neko you can go to smaller weights like 1/3 of a 3/32 weight like you talked about. Other than that I don’t understand the difference. Thank you. Love your channel. Best on RUclips. Hands down.
Great video as always. I have been watching your videos for several years now and they are really helpful. Keep up the good work. For the past year and a half to two years I have notice you are wearing a wedding ring, will you be making any videos with your better half? I also would like your thoughts on Navionics vs Lake Master SD cards for fish finders. I have two Hummingbird Helix 7 Gen 2's on my boat. Both units came with a free Navionics SD Card and was wordering what your thoughts were on comparing the two.
As always Jonny, really great info! In the past and in your websites “rod guide” you are opposed to micro guides on fishing rods. Do you find the guides acceptable on the Denali line of rods in both spinning and casting? Thanks again for a great channel.
None of the Denali rods I use in my videos have micro guides. Some of the guides are kind of in between micro guides and normal guides, but still big enough to let a leader knot go through without any issues. I wouldn't use them if they had micro guides haha.
I could use this idea yesterday it was windy over cast wind was blowing so hard I had to other side to wind brakes but bass just not bitting dress beds or docks
I've always liked your information but can we lose the click bait titles. If you never struggled to catch inactive fish you would be the best fisherman on the planet!
I se 95percent videos of fisherman with boats fishfinders and brag about how many fish they cought is there any videos fishing from the bank for us beginners I don’t have a boat or a fish finder I’m not rich

I like the rationale for using the longer leader - for protecting the knot and accounting for breakoffs.

Thanks Johnny, I will definitely try this Nemo technique.

Best video explanation I have seen nothing missing great job!
Ithrow this on one of my many Zepher bfs, and it kills. There is no line twist, the same familiar feel as my big reels awesome video.
Ring shank underlayment nails work great also Great video.
7" and 9" Stanford Baits Big Show Kicker Tail Worm works great for that technique.

Thanks for the great info Jonny I'll give it a try!
Intuitive Angling sent me here. Just subbed.

Great tip. I fish a lot and know most tips people talk about but I never thought to fish a neko like this
Kinda like Taku swimming the wacky in the standing timber at Fork last year ^_^
great channel ,love your videos
Great video!
Thanks for the content Johnny, been using the Deep Dive app on my local lakes and it really helps narrow down what works.
Good Tips as Always!!!!!

thanks in advance..
Awesome video! Keep it up.
Good stuff johnny. Sounds like a great and fun way to catch them
One of my favorite rigs!
Great interpretation of the neko rig. 🦈
Another awesome instruction video. Great work!

Excellent
Good stuff as always.....thanks Jonny
Drop shot would seem to work on them bass in the channel higher in the water column.
Johnny, great content as always

What action is your go to rod for this presentation ?
Good video. Thank you for the solid advice.
Awesome I love that rig, thanks for the content.
I've been useing a combination of swimming the wacky and dead sticking it both ways have gotten me many fish
Johnny, what knot do you prefer to use to tie to the hook? Thanks for all of your great videos.
Great video. Thanks for the time

Johnny is the In-Fisherman of the 2020's.
Facts. Science.
Thanks buddy. This was a good one…
I'm not a proponent (or opponent) of livescope, but seeing that bass watch the bait all the way down was really cool.

@@FishtheMoment 🤣 Of course not! LOL
You cleared up a good bit of misunderstanding I had. Used the links to place a Tackle Warehouse order.
Why not a Senko?
I could use this idea yesterday it was windy over cast wind was blowing so hard I had to other side to wind brakes but bass just not bitting dress beds or docks
big swimbait weather. Especially if barometric pressure was low.
#1!!!!
30-40’ flurocarbon line leader? Really? That’s longer than I’ve ever heard anyone using.
Who here doesn't have literal washtubs full of baits that worked once 8-18 years ago at that certain place ? 😂
I've always liked your information but can we lose the click bait titles. If you never struggled to catch inactive fish you would be the best fisherman on the planet!
