My buddy is a former US Army Ranger. During a war game his unit acted as insurgents. Their sniper took a shot down an M1 Abram’s. Said Abram’s had a paint round in barrel. Tank crew wasn’t happy because sniper hit round as loader put round in chamber. Paint goes everywhere.
Would that be enough to disable it?
@@michaelmoses8745only if when it hits the shell it ALSO made it explode too.. which would only guarantee to take out the loader an maybe the gunner too, similar to a turret kill, as when your talking bout tanks, Especially The most advanced modern ones there's no guarantee even the most anti tank weapon will in just 1 shot usually
They don’t use paintball in war games.
That's fucking incredible marksmanship
@@jrstoelting simmunitions, paint rounds, from pistol to artillery shells are used by the US army in some training, MILES gear is used more these days but not always. Risk of injury is higher with simmunitions and fully automatic weapons sometimes have feed issues with them, but they are a more accurate representation of live fire than MILES gear.
I wonder how a sniper duel between Crosshair and Aurra Sing would be like. Probably as badass as the one at the climax of the film "Enemy at the Gates"
That movie was fire. I loved it so much!
I think crosshair would destroy her he’s genetically made for sniping and very well trained and experienced. She’s just very experienced and probably well trained
Depends on the size of the snipper that each of them has and the type of medium they have to cut. Then you would have to compare the biology of each of them to see who could generate more force while closing their snippers not to mention their personal arts and crafts experience.
@@arvidkoop6738 Aurra was a Jedi once.
Snipper lmao one too many ‘p’s
" And judging by Hunter's appearance, he hasn't come back from there just yet. " Niiiice. Rambo reference.
Crosshair is basically like the result of dice rolls being applied to every shot, and he just rolls 20s forever. His hand problem was probably a decision made to nerf him so he wouldn't be unstoppable in a later difficult situation. My guess it that part of the finale has another place where perfect timing and accuracy would get him out, and he's not meant to succeed so he needed something written in to ensure his failing to hit a target makes sense.
To those who know D&D, it's like saying "roll, you need a 20, but you gain quadruple advantage and you get to re-roll". Every shot should be impossible, but he still manages.
@@NicoTheTrapper7 Pretty much
You pretty much predicted 3x11, damn that was hard to watch
On the other hand it made him hitting the binders in the final episode even more awsome, because at this point it wasn't actually super easy, barely an inconvince for him.
Yeah that’s fair
Generation tech, one of the most entertaining content creators out there!
Those clones were children in adults bodies. But Grogu was an adult in a babies body
Confusion
Sorta, if your in one them societies where even your kids are elite level warriors an even merciless Assassins when needed... and/or your adults.. or some of them anyways. Also possess powerful supernatural abilities an senses
You’re onto something
yes,, but really random
Clone confused...
Clone not understand
This make clone brain hurt
Crosshair is my favorite clone. Great video. Thank you!
Just got off work early and i get a brand new generation tech video thats what i call a good day
It would be interesting in the future episode we see Crosshair in a shootout against Fennec Shand
Now, THAT I have to see.
That wouldn't work. Shand would end up dead, and it would mess up her appearing later.
@@UnswimmingFishYT Given how he's developed trembling and his accuracy dropped dramatically, it's more likely that Fennec would kill Crosshair than the other way around.
In his prime, Crosshair would've destroyed her, *but shit happens.*
@@MrDibara When comparing characters, the typical method is to take their best form. Shand's remained about the same and hasn't improved or gotten worse, and Crosshair's issue being placed very close to the end of the show he's from makes it a lot more reasonable to go by his unhindered form as he is through most of the story.
The same standard is applied regularly with other characters. Nobody comparing Batman to other fighters tends to refer to the elderly Wayne in Batman Beyond, they refer to the younger Batman, and typically the rather OP comic version.
Who knows, next week maybe 👀
The "Fun House Collection" was definitelly my favourite moments.
Btw, way to name them, Allan! 10/10! 👌
Crosshair's enhanced eyesight is incredible.
6:22 The MG 42 is clearly what inspired the DLT 19, not the DC 15
So in the mirror shot with the pistol, you can see that there mirrors around that he didn't shoot and the shot didn't bounce off of. Its likely that he REALLY understands angles and he set them up before hand to give himself options and he just happened to use that one because its the one that works.
yep and it actually makes sense because a good portion of sniper work understanding angles and working with your options
Such an underrated channel love your content been here for a couple of years now and still love the thought and facts you bring to the analysis! Keep up the great work !
How dare you claim Freedom Units weren't used to travel into space. Freedom Units put us on the Moon, son!
Wrong
Let's not talk about the mars mission in which a lack of conversions led to critical failure.
Who’s gonna tell him about all the germans
@@jockliberts1040 FREEEEEDOM UNITS SON!
@@jockliberts1040 FREEEEDOM WOOOOO!!!!!!
watching this after the most recent BB ep and the tremors are explained to be some sort of phycological problem most likely crosshair suffering ptsd
The final shot he made in the finale was amazing.
Those mirrors are more powerful than lightsabers. Change my mind
Wait hold on, let me get one more thing…
You forgot his best shot: the shot that did the impossible and finally allowed him to admit that he was wrong to trust the Emprie. I mean it took him two whole seasons to line up that shot.
Maybe he did the 9km shot in space, shooting vulture droids from the hull of a venator
I’ll pay to have that sight in the credits of one of the episodes
I set my sights on this video....first
Anakin's form 5 of classical varient is used to deflect laser shots back at the target, he can sence the trajectory of the bullets and see it before touching his body, the rest is ignored when not hitting something vital.
Crosshair could 1 shot a Star Destroyer
The fun house shots are ace
I watched TBB before TCW, and for the longest time I wondered what the shaft sticking off Crosshair's pauldron was for. Seeing how much it adds to his silhouette can't make it easy to navigate cramped spaces, so whatever it was had to be worth its addition. Seeing it work as a mobile support for his weapon is clever in a creative kind of way that makes it perfectly on brand for TBB. Love it
This content is so good thanks again, Alan
"The germans employed it to great effect making their gunners more mobile and deadly." And deaf. Don't forget deaf. The support guy is never hearing anything but white noise again.
We use "slug throwers" here on earth. LOL
I remember watching you as a kid!
you are one of my favorite SW CW youtubers!
13:16 Mythbusters actually did an episode on bullets traveling under water.
Basically, no matter the calibre (including the mighty .50 cal), after about 4 feet of depth you're safe from 99% of all small-arms fire.
7:59 I think we're forgetting about how good his reaction time is and the quick math that is done in his mind. There would have to be so much precise math done -IN THE JUST A FEW SECONDS MIND YOU- to THROW those mirrors in the exact spot. Once he shoots, it hits EVERY. SINGLE. MIRROR. One stray shot and it's all ruined! Yet he manages to hit every time!
Just like in season 2 episode 3 of The Bad Batch where Cody throws the disk, and Crosshair manages to shoot it, MID AIR, and disable FIVE DROIDS WITH ONE SHOT.
LIKE WHAT-
I love this channel. Not just for the awesome Star Wars content but for the quips and insights provided by Allen. And you gotta love that LOTR reference! Humanity First!
4 elephants! It would have been 5, but it fell and crashed into the Discworld.
This is why I like Allen’s content. No one out there like him on YT…
That helldivers reference wad great bro lol
One: That's four elephants not two. Two: That disc actually spins
I'm hoping we get to see Crosshair back in his A-game in some episodes later down the line in Bad Batch.
Cause oh my lord in his Hay-Day bro was hitting shots literally impossible
If mirrors can deflect blasters shots why is there not mirrors armour on vehicle like fighters?
Expense it's not mirrors exactly more like magnetically sealed plates
@@wisp_0_the_will so why has no elite starfighter a counting of that on it? Blasters are the most common weapons
@@nightwolfnordberg9476Because a rifle laser is less power, whereas tank/star fighter laser would burn right though. You can test this with IRL lasers, if there's enough power it doesn't bounce off but literally burns through the mirror or even shatters it instantly
'they have the obi wan' is the most star wars quote ever.
8:38 Wrecker still hasn't been able to top this off
I think the mirrors recharge the projectiles
Definitely a bit different of a video from you but very nicely done I loved it!
Who is the better shot, Crosshair or Jun-A266?
Probably jun, I expect spartan augmentations to be far superior to anything the bad batch have. And if it were Linda, crosshair wouldn’t even know she was there before he was dead
@@Giddog40linda>jun>crosshair
10:15 The Chinese have a grenade launcher sniper that I believe can have programmed air burst munitions so I would think it would similar to the grapple attachment
This Aged Well.
Sev is the best clone sniper R.I.P.
I get having nostalgia but come on now 😂 crosshair is a all around better sniper and marksmen than sev 🤷♂️
And if you think sev is better give various examples 🤷♂️
Absurd and heresy. The world is not some disc on two elefants. Three is four of them. And fifth stuck in mountain. Those who kniws... knows.
Tanks are known to shoot down attack helicopters, at NTC apaches would have to be more aggressive near tanks.
you should definitely put which episodes the scenes are from
Crosshair is in fact ambidextrous
Its four Elephants, the fifth has fallen of an crashed on to it ...
Crazy how many feats he's gathered in such a short time
sounds good thank you.
Crosshair could've been using those reflector discs to get the ranger
Slight mistake, Mayday killed the one that jumped on top of him and crosshair finished the other 2 but all in all great video and nice references XD
I love the translations into aurebesh! but you forgot about the th symbol, thesh, I had to look up the name.
Lego helms! Very nice!!
Fun House 3.0 is the best
I like dolphins.
There, I said it.
Very Nice 🎯
sev after seeing the title: "Hold my beer"
Thanks Alan👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Non-American here, I can confirm that "klicks" has made its way to at least Western Europe in colloquial use, if not further.
If we’re talking about just from SW, I agree. If this was literally any sniper, Linda from Halo would literally instakill Crosshair.
@17:40 it was Mayday who shot the insurgent on top of him and Crosshair shot the other 2. You can tell with there being only 2 red bolts. There were no red bolts with Mayday’s shot as he shot the insurgent with the gun right into him
Maybe all clones are genetically designed to be ambidexterous. If that is something that can be controlled by genetics... but I think It would, or at least that you could Genetically modify clones to have it easier learning to be ambidexterous
They are canon and legends facts
And now he can’t hit a hanging person 15 meters away😢
Imagine all the shots he took during the war off screen when the bad batch werent even a thing back then
Heeeeeeyyyyyyyy love the bf3 reference loved flying choppers in that game
The MG-34 is literally the DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle ;D
Almost 1:1
13:05 I think you mean bullet because “when a water goes and transitions to air to water “ does not make any sense
Hello
2:45 is nova’s death.
2 impact grenades are enough for a tank??? I can't enlist cause my computer is too weak, but I'm glad the Creek was taken back
You should have seen the shot CROSSHAIR made in the latest episode
i see what you did.
disguising a crosshair recap as a top 12.
Actually maybe killed the 1st one while he was flipping him, crosshair got the other 2
Nuh uh!!!!!
'klicks stand not for miles, kilometers..."
Uh, duh!
Im a pretty decent shot but, im no crosshair
i wouldnt be suprised if crosshair can actually weild the force
10k is 6.2 miles
Try the metric system when your machining parts. Your going to need that "other system"
Spoken by someone who knows haha
I dare say he isn’t a very good shot anymore.
I did believe that the world was round but the elephant turtle thing sounds cool as fuck.
Hear me out. Give him the "far killer".
10km = 6.2 miles.
gg crosshair
I like that you said that we're trolling them with Imperial measurements and Avoirdupois. Brits can't say anything. They're measuring in stone, still.
Ha
Dear Alan we know you Americans use metric😂🎉.
I like using Fahrenheit instead of Celsius because it's more precise, I enjoy setting my AC to 78° I don't think it's got enough space after the decimal for Celsius 😂😂 25.556°
Ummmmmm...pretty sure it's all in the meaning of his name, and the crosshair tatoo over his eye. End of story.😂😂😂
👍
The bad batch read the blue pages.
As someone who's been in the armed forces, I'm calling BS. They go back & forth on the metric & SAE all the damn time. You literally shoot targets at 100, 250, & 500 YARDS in training for stationary targets, then at 10 & 40 YARDS for moving targets. Those weren't "meters".
Entertaining but what is it with you and confusing WW2 equipment. Second time that you mentioned the MG34 without the MG42 after you confused the M4 Sherman for the M3 Lee.
That does sound American
