Fun fact: Dee Bradley Baker, much like Dave Filoni, also worked on Avatar... and did the sounds for Appa. This means he has played both Appo and Appa.
Forgetting Bacara is a crime.. Would love to see a reupload with him included. Arguably the most elite commander along with Cody and Rex.

Rex was technically a Commander, since he was promoted by General Skywalker during the waning years of the clone wars for the battle for mandalore

Yeah plus Rex had the one of the most customized armor as he melded the best aspects of both phases of the clone trooper armor
It's a shame we'll never get a clone wars game with single player dedicated to it. Has such a huge potential for fun and diverse levels.
We did. It was bad. You're driving a tank the whole time. Only good thing of it was you having to tap into the dark side in order to not be immediately killed by a super weapon called the Dark Harvester. It was free in a bundle for either Original Xbox, or maybe Xbox 360.

Star Wars Republic Commandos is this game though! You play as an elite clone commando who is assigned as a team leader of an elite group, called "Delta Squad". The aforementioned Commander Scorch (from the video) is actually one of your teammates in this game, highly recommended to anyone interested! It is a bit dated but still a lot of fun.
The Clone Wars the game. Battlefront 2. Republic Commando. Jedi: Starfighter. Kind of Galactic Battlegrounds and Empire at War was also going to be set in prequels but creators wanted to go for OT and Old Republic.
Scorch's turnaround in the Bad Batch is so sad, he went from a man who cared about his brothers more than orders to an order-following robot under Hemlock.
It breaks my heart too and it makes me wounder about what happened to the rest of delta squad
My favorite Clone Commander in Commander Bacara, leader of the Galactic Marines. He was the best trained Clone Commander with the best Clone unit, training each Clone individually and sending those who did not reach his expectations to other units. During Order 66 he executed Ki Adi Mundi on Mygeetos.
I've always find clones to be very tragic, I love them, I love their personalities, but they're true purpose is sad, it hits even harder that they became very good friends to the Jedi.

Commander Cody, Thire, and Ponds are some of my favorite commanders with Oddball, Monnk, and Stone are my favorite lesser known commanders.
Is oddball really a lesser known commander? He has multiple appearances in TCW and in episode 3 also. I suppose he could be more obscure than most since he is a pilot and not seen as often as the ground commanders but i thought he was well known
Monnk is honestly my top 5 favourite clones.
His design is so cool and the scuba armour looks so badass. Monnk also survived the Separatist invasion of Mon Cala in which he was one of the very few surviving clones, I feel like that’s very under appreciated.
As others have pointed out, Rex was a Commander shortly before the end of the war. If I was to be more technical he was actually a traitor and therefore stripped of his rank, but that would make him not a member of the GAR whatsoever, so he would just be a Commander
Also honesty he always more or less seemed to carry the effective role of a Commander, even being said to have gotten the same training as most others
If I remember right if not for Ashoka he would have been commander day 1
the fact that commander in season 6 of clone wars is commander doom and named after Dr Doom is amazing

by far my favorite commander was wolffe. his story and the story surrounding his wolfpack felt like it had so much depth, plus the absolute badassery and unique armor designs definitely made him my favorite.

Cody has always been one of my favorite troopers. I like to think he friendship with Obi-Wan overpowered the inhibitor chip and he purposely let Obi-Wan live.

I like how certain groups under certain commanders have some of their commander armor's features. For example: the clones under Wolffe had helmet art resembling a wolf, as well as shoulder things with Wolffe's design.
Fox’s armour was also inverted from the standard shock trooper clone armour. I always felt like that was a cool detail.
Vader was just waiting for an excuse to kill Fox.

Umm, there’s a third Legends 501st commander that you may have accidentally missed named Vill; as far as I can remember, he was the last named clone commander of the 501st Legion in Star Wars Legends until he was killed by Darth Vader

Itd be so cool if they made a clone game where you play as a clone and go through all the training (they could even change things up after every “batch” (itd just be clone info and such and story update) and even make special edition “bad batches”) ik that would be so very very veryyy incredibly hard and theyd have to have everything basically done or at least be ahead (at least i think so, i can’t remember how often they actually changed up batches.

There’s a lack of Commander Vill, who was the immediate replacement of 501st Command after Appo’s death and was subsequently killed by Darth Vader after Vader finding out that Vill has commands by Palpatine to Order 66 him
He’s also the third clone commander in the 501st Legion in Star Wars Legends; along with Appo and Bow
