Classic Mode in Ultimate looks to be the best classic mode in all of Smash Bros. Each character getting their own version makes it more worth while to do every character. Also we saw that the Lumen Sage might be a boss, so Bayonetta's Classic Mode might end with her fighting him.

@@sarabagbag I disagree. I liked Subspace, but Smash always works better as a platform fighter than just a platformer. And personalised Classic Mode is so much more interesting than any other Classic Mode before, of you ask me. I love Brawl, but I'd say this is more appealing.
I'd prefer to have both fighting and platforming levels as well in the adventure mode. It makes the adventure mode stand out more as it's own thing, rather than being just a bunch of event battles. They already included boss battles, so why not add some platforming levels as well?

Waluigi is the final boss, and here is why: 1. The first boss shown is a purple and black boss 2. There was a purple and a yellow chair behind Sakuri during the Smash Bros Ultimate Direct 3. The weird thing that sent all of those master hands in the sky looked like the trophy on Mario Tennis Power Tour 4. The game title says "ultimate" in it 5. And lastly, Waluigi wasn't shown in the assist trophy presentation... The WAH is confirmed
This classic mode might be the best one ever. You get themed fights based on the fighter you pick! Oh wow there's also platforming bits and a Galleom fight! Looks like Galleom got some new moves too. :O

Smash 4 dragged on too long. Maybe they could have made Ultimate a little longer, but it looks like a handful of battles were skipped using some fancy video editing. Also, a shorter Classic Mode compliments the Switch's portability and makes beating it with all 70 characters much less of a hassle.
N64 Luigi given that we have other bosses in the game and how random galleom seems, it's possible that you just fight one of the many bosses at the end instead of just master hand i imagine maybe galeem or something like master core could come afterwards on higher difficulties
Kinda been hoping a test fire of sorts, so Nintendo can stress test the online and improve it before the game launches. I guess they dont need to do it it seems.
Wolf looks so polished and awesome. That boss at the end imo confirms that Simon and Richter will fight Dracula at the end of their classic runs. Hype keeps going up a level.

I like how short these seem to be. Classic mode always felt like such a chore in Sm4sh, especially if you were trying to clear it with every character.
The final boss of Classic Mode probably depends on the character. I'd imagine Smash 64 characters go against Master Hand, Melee against Giga Bowser, Brawl against any of the Subspace bosses, Sm4sh against Master Core, and Ultimate against whatever that thing in World of Light was.
From what I can tell: 1) Yes 2) Can't be certain, however it is doubtful as that would mean there would be 74+ bosses in the game. I know Sakurai is a madman but that's a bit much, even for him and his team.
That loading speed is incredibly fast! Holy crap! For a Nintendo switch came as large as this I wouldn't have minded if the game load time was a little bit like that because I would have been understandable given just how much content is in this game. But to see that it's in fact quite the opposite is amazing. 0w0 Classic Mode looks really fun by the way.
I just figured something out. In the intro cutscene of World Of Light, it mentioned that Galleom created the copies of the fallen fighters by forcing captive spirits to possess them. That means that the final boss in this video is the villain who thanosed all of the fighters but Kirby. Check out IGN's video of first five minutes of World Of Light if you don't believe me. Read the text in the intro cutscene.

It's nice to see minigames have been brought back to classic.
Can't wait to see all the different bosses this game has! Probably not a different one for every fighter, but still quite a few I'm sure!
That loading speed is incredibly fast! Holy crap! For a Nintendo switch came as large as this I wouldn't have minded if the game load time was a little bit like that because I would have been understandable given just how much content is in this game. But to see that it's in fact quite the opposite is amazing. 0w0

I just noticed Wolf’s stance has changed
I just figured something out. In the intro cutscene of World Of Light, it mentioned that Galleom created the copies of the fallen fighters by forcing captive spirits to possess them. That means that the final boss in this video is the villain who thanosed all of the fighters but Kirby. Check out IGN's video of first five minutes of World Of Light if you don't believe me. Oh my god this opens up the possibilities for final bosses in other people’s classic mode runs.Like what if Mario’s is a match against Giga Bowser or the Belmonts facing off against Dracula
The thing I loved about classic mode is getting their trophy afterwards, cuz I loved collecting.
Besides being the reunited roster from what I gather it seems like:
Ice Climbers: snow area like Fichina - the introduction to Star Wolf.
Young Link: reference to Link fighting Wolfos.
Snake: his fight against Lone Wolf maybe?
Or D-Dog, who was referred to as a wolf by Huey Emmerich.
