    Loving these videos Paul! Still have my Returns suit I got from you a few years ago that I still wear to these days. I remember back in 2013 finding you and BoTB on runboard not knowing how to mod anything, loving that you’re helping all the new Bat brothers with these videos.
    Hoping to one day do a Panther suit (and cowl if someone ever does anything bigger than 23”) and looking at you down the road! Thanks for all the positivity!

      Ah, brotherhood of the bat. A wonderful place in the glory days and now. I’m glad you’re still around. I don’t really make suits but just a few high-quality parts and I guess you put the suit together well. Glad to hear that you’ve been enjoying it. The only way I know how to make a larger panther suit would be to start from scratch and there just isn’t very much interest on the overall in comparison to the amount of hours and time and expense something like that would take but who knows anything is possible thank you so much for being here and commenting I hope you continue and I hope I continue.

    hello, im having an issue with a mask (not yours, full face type) where i need to resize JUST the nose and upper lip. The eyes line up great but then the mouth hole is too high up. I dont know how i could stretch just those pieces and not the rest and am open to suggestions.
    ive heard of trying boiling water on just that section?
    heat gun / hair dryer?

      That would be my best guess. Just do it safely and slowly.

    Hey! I’m working on a replica of the flash’s costume from the upcoming Flash movie, and I plan on sculpting it onto a bodycast, and then casting it in latex. The biggest question I have is whether or not I’ll have any maneuverability (it’s one piece, however there are hidden spandex flexibility points sewn in underneath the armpits and between the thighs)
    Was also wondering if you had any tips when it comes to sculpting, or just in general.

    • @ConsciousCounseling
      @ConsciousCounseling  Год назад +1

      There are cooler and higher quality ways to go for that type of thing. I recommend latex for many things because it’s tough and will hold up. You are definitely on the right track by cutting it apart putting it on under suit and have a flex area. Because you want the latex to hold its shape so it needs to be thicker in some areas thinner in other areas and nonexistent in yet other areas.
      I have what I think are two really good cowl sculpting multi part videos that really you can apply to anything that you do mostly, you should definitely look at some of the parts or all of the parts of both of those. Just go down the line to the end of the videos list here and you’ll find them.

      @@ConsciousCounseling I’ve watched all of those videos and they’re fantastic! The biggest challenge with the flash Movie suit from what I can tell is that there are no seams and it’s one piece from what I can tell based on the mannequin display they showed. Only seperate pieces are the helmet, gloves, and boots. And what’s even more frustrating (yet also fascinating) is how there’s nowhere that I can see to hide a seam line, since the belt is mostly disconnected.

    • @ConsciousCounseling
      @ConsciousCounseling  Год назад +1

      Well one thing I can at least say for everyone in this bat community over all these decades is this, Hollywood has all the top people and all the cash working on all the best things many of each item for each movie and then they’re thrown away or ruined we are forced to do things in a durable and inexpensive manner so we make some compromises and concessions to do so, we may have a seam or various different things that we implement ourselves, in our own ways. there’s no one right way. But my one right way is latex because it’s so workable and so forgiving and so tough.

    Hey Paul! Love your videos! I've been working on a batsuit from the most recent Batman movie, and recently bought a latex cowl, but the thing is to thight for my head. Do you think the kickball method you toght would work in this situation? And if not, do you have any other recomentations to make it fit my head properly?

    • @ConsciousCounseling
      @ConsciousCounseling  Месяц назад

      I can only speak for sure for mine because there are different types of latex and different types of makers and you never know what you have for sure. If you do it do it in stages and be careful. Take it slow.

    Great video Paul!
    Like a lot of the viewers I enjoy all of the content you post.
    The costume building and the more personal stuff.
    The notification thing is puzzling?
    I’ve got all the boxes checked and it still doesn’t let me know when you’ve posted a video or replied to a comment.
    I’m going to look into it and get back to you.
    The Brotherhood of the Bat forum seems closed.
    You can still read all the posts. But you can’t join and contribute
    You could always mix it up and post some “conscientious counsellor” content too.
    I always like hearing your views and options on subjects.
    The most important thing the viewers can do is “like” “comment” and “share” the videos.
    When you share the videos it lets the RUclips algorithm know it’s popular and it will start recommending the videos to people their in their feed and help the channel grow!
    I’ve been watching your videos for about 12 or more years now and enjoy everyone of them.
    More people in the cosplay community need to see you content. Lots of the techniques can be applied to a wide variety of costumes
    Let’s all get together and help Paul grow his channel
    Thanks for remaking that cowl for me. You’re a stand up guy 👍
    RIP John Ritter
    Thanks

      Thank you. Your thoughts have offered me some insights and foundational understandings that I’m going to look into. Jayden told me that I have to ask people to put on notifications but here you are telling me that you have put on notifications and it’s not working so that’s a big one right there. Thank you for your long time interest I wish I had known you all these years but I’m glad to know you’re now.

      @@ConsciousCounseling I did a little research on RUclips notifications
      Apparently they changed the way they notify you.
      Even if you’re subscribed to the channel and have “all notifications on” you won’t get any notifications until you go into your mobile device “settings” and enable all notifications
      And then make sure your app on the device is setup to notifications
      Mine seems to working good today after I did all of that.
      You could probably let everyone know in a future video so we can all stay in touch.
      If you need a more detailed description.
      Let me know.
      I can email you with a step by step including screenshots as well

      I wasn’t able to comment back then because I was watching them at work and wasn’t logged on.

    You're amazing i learn so much from these videos please keep making them, they make my day :). Also i have a question what do you think would be the best way to make a cowl fold like a hoodie in the cartoons i think that look is cool do you think it's possible?

    • @ConsciousCounseling
      @ConsciousCounseling  Год назад

      Thank you so much. I appreciate that and I’m glad that I am able to help in someways or at least entertain. As for your question there are other materials that could make a cowl work like that, one of them comes to the top of my head is foam latex, very few people use that because it can deteriorate and it’s kind of fragile but it’s like a sock and you can pull it right off of your head and fold it down in a manner similar to what you might be thinking of.

    Hey Paul it's Jayden from the cowl vault. I messaged you about making a green goblin latex mask from ebay stiffer with plastidip. Was wondering if maybe you could show have to make a thin latex piece sturdier your way.

    • @ConsciousCounseling
      @ConsciousCounseling  Год назад +1

      That is definitely something I should mention. I don’t really recommend it for a good smooth coat but yes plastidip can definitely make things tougher and stiffer if you use a lot of it. I’ll try to remember to bring that up in a video. Thank you.
