In KH2 Auron is brought back to life by Hades in attempts to use him to kill Hercules. unlike the other FF characters, Auron makes direct references to the events of FFX and later in the game we get a glimps of Auron memories in the form of voice lines. These voice clips are directly taken from FFX. These audio clips are from the moment in the past where Auron is pleading to lord Braska to not sacrifice himself.

There's a reason to why they wont do it. Making manhunt was actually hell to them to the point the devs nearly started a mutiny. If they make a third game they probably wont go as hard as they did in first two entries. The story telling and making the kills can be mentally draining and drive you nuts if you're not desensitized to it. They were able to do gta because it was more light hearted and much easier to make then manhunt where it went so dark they had problems with content they were making at the time. So long story short. We may not see manhunt since that game is too hot and too fresh in minds of many countries that banned it (and eventually unbanned it) and if we do it wont be exactly what we expect

the bungie universe and the alan wake universe are fascinating! although as the video went on, i felt that there were some sections that just felt like it was reaching. there are many gaming cross overs like mario & sonic and kingdom hearts, where a game is created around a shared universe of two IPs. it doesnt mean that we have to justify exactly why it's happening or where in the timeline it has to fit. in the case of FF and KH, Cloud just happens to exist in FF7 and KH. though similar, it doesn't mean it's the same Cloud. not everyone is universe hopping.

For those who argue between 343 Industries and Bungie. Bungie and 343 are two sides of the coin regarding what is ruined/dismissed and what was good. Bungie was tough on the extended lore. Essentially being the last say of anything lore related. Bungie mainly created great/memorable games. 343 Industries did the opposite, ruining the games, but allowed of a MASSIVE lore expansion. A perfect example would be the story that’s created huge tension leading up to Halo 5 vs the story we got for the release of Halo 5. If you don’t know, definitely look it up.

hawks is part of the ghost recon timeline unless advanced warfighter the first mission is providing air support for ghost team from there the later stuff keeps trying to hint the division is in the timeline now everyone believes the new bad guys are rogue ghost or something but that makes no sense

the bungie universe and the alan wake universe are fascinating! although as the video went on, i felt that there were some sections that just felt like it was reaching. there are many gaming cross overs like mario & sonic and kingdom hearts, where a game is created around a shared universe of two IPs. it doesnt mean that we have to justify exactly why it's happening or where in the timeline it has to fit. in the case of FF and KH, Cloud just happens to exist in FF7 and KH. though similar, it doesn't mean it's the same Cloud. not everyone is universe hopping.
Not sure why people are tying to connect Halo Reach and Halo: ODST to the "343i Universe". Reach and ODST were both made by Bungie and are known FACTUAL prequels to Halo Combat Evolved

Call of Duty would be the series that kills its best mode, end it poorly with cheap, drawn cutscenes, then retcon the entire series around that plot point, which only a fraction of players played anyway.

For those who argue between 343 Industries and Bungie.
Bungie and 343 are two sides of the coin regarding what is ruined/dismissed and what was good.
Bungie was tough on the extended lore. Essentially being the last say of anything lore related. Bungie mainly created great/memorable games.
343 Industries did the opposite, ruining the games, but allowed of a MASSIVE lore expansion. A perfect example would be the story that’s created huge tension leading up to Halo 5 vs the story we got for the release of Halo 5. If you don’t know, definitely look it up.
You do know that Reach and ODST are FACTUALLY Bungie games that were developed as prequels to Combat Evolved right? Not sure why people keep trying to connect them to Microsoft 343i.

I think the series was good fs through 3. Then 4 wasn't great but it could have been a good jumping off point.... Then came 5... Then the launch of infinite.... 343i made outside media a necessity... Then they started jumping in time.... And Cortana having logic plague was a dropped ball uh.... 343 showed some potential in 4, but ultimately failed
Halo didn't have much lore at all anyway. It was just rule of cool gene spliced super soldiers killing Muslim aliens for the US... uh.. Earth.

Sorry mate, hard disagree on the Halo paraverse. The ending of Halo 3 is a foil to the start of Halo CE, the marines are similar because.... theyre generic, borderline stereotypical names marine names.
Lots of media have pods similar to Halo. That doesnt mean theyre connected, especially when its as perfect a foil between games as the start of Halo CE and end of 3

also the surname kong is more of a clan name, not all clan members are related, hell most clan members arent related, regardless the naming convention of kong is a bit two parted, its a surname and species name, all sapient primates are kongs but not all kongs get the kong surname, that seems to be reserved for important characters only, so if we think about it cranky is the original donkey kong, jr is his son, current donkey kong is the grandson, they have the name kong because they are in charge, they gift the surname to those they deem worthy, donkey kong did so to his girlfriend and best friends(funky and diddy), diddy kong to his girlfriend and her family, the only two named kongs we dont have exact reasoning for how or why they have the name is lanky and swanky
