- Atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) is similar to thrombotic thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP).
Typical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS) is a triad of microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, and acute renal failure.
Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a pentad of microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, acute renal failure, fever, and neurological abnormalities.

Bernard-Soulier Syndrome (BSS) is an autosomal recessive (AR) disorder characterized by a defective GP1b platelet receptor leading to a problematic platelet adhesion process (primary hemostasis).
Glanzmann Thrombasthenia (GT) is an autosomal recessive defect in the GPIIb/IIIa (GP2b/3a) receptor on the platelet which leads to defective platelet aggregation.
Ristocetin Cofactor Assay (RIPA) is usually abnormal in cases of Bernard-Soulier Syndrome (BSS).
Bleeding time is prolonged, platelets are big in size, but few in number (Macrothrombocytopenia).

Just taking a long shot at the answer. Is it related to the fact that cryoprecipitate has vWF and ADAMTS13 job is to cut vWF monomers? We want more ADAMTS 13 to work. Hence, we are kind of making sure that the plasma exchange is not carrying more vWF or the new ADAMTS13 in supernatant will have extra work load and we will end up at the point we started from.

My understanding behind the answer: Minute ventilation = TV × RR. During exercise you will ⬆️ the RR, the TV will ⬇️, which will help maintain the MV. Just generally, if you are breathing fast, can't really take in a lot of air right? Exception : DKA, you have something known as Kussmaul breathing where you breathe fast and deep.

I have Atypical HUS with end stage kidney failure because I ignored the symptoms. Caused by a benign C3 gene

Can DAT be positive in atypical HUS?
No maybe because it has everything to do with the complement mutation let's say complement factor H mutation but if you ask me about TTP, you'd say that TTP has antibodies against vWF. The answer is no again because Coombs detects antibodies on the RBCs
