    My favorite player of all time. This was a guy that could take ass beating after ass beating from every elite defense and still show up every Sunday, doing what he loved the most. When Favre went on to the field, he played his heart out and left everything on that field. There wasn't a more entertaining quarterback around to watch, growing up.
    Favre is the reason fell in love with football and in my eyes will always be one of the greats.

    When people say that Starr is the greatest Packers QB ever I beg to differ as a GB fan, Favre brought greatness back to Green Bay, before Favre we were in a 20 year drought, after him we've been a playoff/Championship team every year for 20+ years, that's greatness.

    • @CrysisOwnsHalo
      @CrysisOwnsHalo 7 лет назад +3

      Yeah about the last part, although that can mostly be attributed to Aaron Rodgers and a playmaking defense.

    • @1perfectstrangerr
      @1perfectstrangerr 7 лет назад +10

      Before Starr, GB had not had a wining season in 11 years... they were on the verge of dismantling the team and folding... Under Starr, GB went on to win 5 titles in a 7 year span, including a 3-peat....{They came within one play of doing it twice......} They were a true dynasty and the team of the 60's. Favre's Packers were a good team in the mix every year but by no means a dynasty.... ONE ring was all he could muster... should have won 4....I'll take Starr's 5 rings over Favre's one ring any day...

      I love Brett Favre. He’s a top 10 quarterback in my mind. However, I’d say those late ‘90s Packer teams were better than most Peyton Manning’s Colts teams. Brett Favre had good coaching, defenses, and a great cast. Peyton had good receivers, but the coaching was a rollercoaster and he had some rough defenses. I’d say Peyton is better.

    • @1terraforce
      @1terraforce 6 лет назад +2

      Michael Neyman late 90s teams? No, mid 90s team (94-97) yes! Outside of that, Favre didn't have a lot. 94-97 packs were great on both sides of the ball, but outside of that they've had just as bad of defenses and coaching as colts did in the manning era, and manning played in the AFC south which has been a cheesey division for a long time! Manning has always had a better supporting cast in every position on offense, with the exception of rb, then what Favre has had and manning had it for much longer. Not saying manning isn't better, but he's never had to struggle with consistent playmakers. I will say manning is better only because he studied it so much where as Favre treated it like backyard football

      That's part of the charm of Favre. He was a gunslinger, and made throws no one else would even take because he was a gambler and a risk taker. I'm not saying it will win you more games, but you will look exciting as hell when it works out.

    20?!!! Ahead of Brady, Elway, Marino? 🤦‍♂️ 😂😂😂, This list sucks and had to be made by John Madden lol. No way is he on the same level of any of those qbs, and id argue for others he’s ahead of too.Threw a ton of picks was completely selfish and underperformed in the playoffs year after year after year, not saying he wasn’t great but this placing is absurd, just like a lot of the rankings on this list, NFL needs to update this.

    • @jackschraeder387
      @jackschraeder387 5 лет назад

      Chris Jensen this was from 2010, not 2018 so shut up about Brady. Favre was one of the best qbs ever to play the game, tons better than Brady. Rings don’t mean nothing if you’re better.

      Super Happy Fun Times Kid i said he was great, he’s NOT better than Brady, Elway or Marino. “2010 not 2018” well even in 2010 Brady had surpassed favre in almost everything accept mvps, and now he’s caught up to him in that too. I don’t even like Brady but he’s definitely better than favre lol.

      Most overrated QB in NFL history other than Namath. GB never lost a playoff game because of Bart Starr. They lost SEVERAL because of Favre trying to be the hero and throwing RETARDED interceptions at the worst possible times. He singlehandedly lost the NFC Championship Game twice in 3 years from 2007-09 with 2 of the worst overtime interceptions I've ever seen in all my life.

    • @TheSSUltimateGoku
      @TheSSUltimateGoku 3 года назад +1

      If you’re only taking account the Super Bowl loss that he had against John Elway then you’re stupid John Elway didn’t win Super Bowl 32 Terrell Davis win it if they did not have Terrell Davis in that game John Elway would’ve gotten creamed by Brett Farve. And John Elway knows it. He had one rushing touchdown that game which was set up because of Terrell Davis. Brett Favre had a statistically better game in the Super Bowl then John Elway did. Brett Favre had better stats than him statistically in the regular season. So yes Brett Favre is clearly better than John Elway!
