Jordan Love took mad notes off of A Rod the way Rodgers took notes from Favre. It’s a beautiful thing. Although I got tired of the drama from A Rod, I hope he comes back to the packers and retires with them next year.

He's got so many great throws the Hail Mary against the Lions didn't even make it. Show this video to anyone who says he doesn't take risks and just throws the ball away. So many of these throws were dangerously close to being intercepted but A-Rod knows what he's doing.
@@lj5190 That's not even remotely true. With the hail Mary pass against Detroit, the ball was thrown so high while still being thrown 70 yards that it allowed the Packers TE to sneak into the front of the end zone and catch it. A lot of great things happened when he was our quarterback but in retrospect he has a terrible losing streak in the Championship games. Being a cowboy fan. Idk how the throw against us 31-31 less than 20 seconds left 3rd & forever and a trip to the NFC championship game on the line and he dots that thing 50 yards on a string rolling opposite to his throwing arm. Unbelievable. I’ve cried 2-3 times in my life as a sports fan. 2 were when I was a kid. The other was that game. I was 19 years old and completely soulless. Haven’t been the same since.
Pretty good list. The first one should be in the top 10. Another one that stands out to me was a throw in the 2009 playoffs vs Arizona. He was falling down and threw a deep ball up the right sideline to Greg Jennings in a tight window. That was the first real wow throw I remember from him.
Honestly number 10 and 3 are my top 2 favorites and most impressive but all of these r just special. Greatest talent at this position outside of Mahomes who is still kinda new.
It's so refreshing to see a top 10 Aaron Rodgers throws list that A) includes way more than 10 throws and B) doesn't include the hail Mary against the Lions
I love the counterintuitiveness of some of this list. Love that you included #8, his first NFL touchdown as a starter. Super underrated play. One day I wanna make an "Aaron Rodgers Top 50 Career Plays" highlight video. The one you included with Janis (the non-obvious one) reminds me how there are so many throws and plays he's made that got left out of the weekly highlight reels for lack of time, and thus get left out of RUclips compilations because people don't have access to the clip. Another one is the pass to a tight end along the sideline he made against the Cardinals in '09. It got ruled OOB but my personal review confirmed it was in. Very similar to a pass he made to Jennings at one point, where he's rolling out and falling away while getting hit and makes an "arced laser," except it's a more extreme example than the more well-known Jennings one.
@@HarveyWallbangers2 I think they might actually be from the same game (the one to Jennings and the one to Quarless I think it was). Either the same game or it was the week earlier against the same opponent. The other crazy part is, in one of those two Cardinals games, Donald Driver had a touchdown where he was ruled down (it was one of those plays where the receiver never hits the ground as he rolls over the body of the defender trying to tackle him). Actually come to think, THAT one might have been in 2010 divisional round against the Falcons.

Not to mention the mobility to even be able to roll out and then get that much on the throw!
Don’t get me wrong, the other throws are great but you see other QBs make similar throws on a regular basis. You never see throws like the Janis TD or the Cook throw. The level of difficulty on those are insane.
Those 3 in playoff games makes them even better, even with a gutless McCarthy coaching not to lose.
I’m 35 and obviously loved Brett Favre when I was a kid. Once I understood football more it’s crazy how much of a weapon A Rod was. Jordan Love took mad notes off of A Rod the way Rodgers took notes from Favre. It’s a beautiful thing. Although I got tired of the drama from A Rod, I hope he comes back to the packers and retires with them next year.
The fact that the first one is an honorable mention shows how good he was
I’ve had the BEST memories being a Packer fan from 2000- until the end of time !! No place on earth like Green Bay, WI !!!!!
you really like losing when it matters dont ya? lol
@@Jacobsmemesnstuffstill better than whatever shit team you rout for
@@nicholasmidkiff5813 lol you wish!
He’s made more jaw dropping throws than anyone in the television era. It’s gonna be so fun when he’s the Vikings QB throwing to Jefferson in 2025.
OK number 4 is just absolutly insane
Dude is incredible!
Y todavia hay Packers que ya olvidaron a Rodgers
❤
that thumbnail is amazing.
Such an awesome dude on and off the field
feild??
Off the field is pretty debatable
the radio call starting at 2:40 is a comforting sound. Always remember hearing those snf games on the radio
As a packer fan my favorite throw of his is that Jared cook toe tapper with 3 seconds sending them to the NFC ship.
Agree with it or not. Aaron Rodgers is the greatest qb in modern football history. Tom Brady is only as good because he always plays for stacked teams.
damn what about his hail mary game winner to richard rodgers against detroit, that throw was unbelievable. i remember watching that live and just being in awe, my jaw literally dropped
Everyone’s already seen it 1million times
Rodgers Hail Mary against the lions at ford field on Thursday night football is one of his best throws ever. -Coming from a lions fan
Won a 20 dollar bet because of it lol
3 needs to be number 1! Best throw to catch I’ve ever seen
Hyping myself up at midnight is counterproductive to my sleeplessness
He's got so many great throws the Hail Mary against the Lions didn't even make it. Show this video to anyone who says he doesn't take risks and just throws the ball away. So many of these throws were dangerously close to being intercepted but A-Rod knows what he's doing.
Credit for successful Hail Mary passes goes to the receivers. The QB just throws up a literal prayer. No skill involved there.
@@lj5190 That's not even remotely true. With the hail Mary pass against Detroit, the ball was thrown so high while still being thrown 70 yards that it allowed the Packers TE to sneak into the front of the end zone and catch it. Extremely easy catch, extremely difficult throw that only 1 or 2 NFL QBS can make. Just watch the highlight it's all over RUclips. 95 percent of the credit of that play goes to the QB.
@@nathanshackelford7812 There’s zero skill involved in chucking a ball as far as you can. If the Lions weren’t inept, that’s an easy interception.
@@lj5190 Yup, NFL players just so inept they didn't even attempt to make the interception. They just stood there even though they are being paid millions. You sound so clownish lmao. The defensive players got locked up and intertwined with all the Packers players in the end zone. Because the ball was thrown so high to the front of the end zone, the Packers TE ran from the 5 yard line into the end zone and caught it. There was nothing any Lions player could do at all. If they could have, they would have.
@@nathanshackelford7812 Boy, those are some impressive mental gymnastics.
The Lions were the worst team in the league. They were awful.
No one is arguing that Rodgers isn’t an all time great, I’m stating what everyone knows… Hail Marys are pure luck. They’re named after a prayer for a reason.
Throws into windows like that and still very very few INT. 🐐
A lot of great things happened when he was our quarterback but in retrospect he has a terrible losing streak in the Championship games. I get wins and losses are team stats but at the same time he touches the ball first on every play on offense. He couldn’t get the job done after his Super Bowl Season. I’m glad Jordan Love outplayed expectations in the later part of the season and hopefully he takes us further.
I watched Mahomes top 27 first, then decided to watch Rodgers...
I don't want to say it.
Straight SAVAGE!!! Arod12 for life!
That Hail Mary to Jeff Janis against Arizona has always been my favorite. Rolling out, falling & heave’s that shit. It was crazy
heaves
I remember being 10 years old watching Superbowl 45. That throw at 3:30 to THIS day, is still one of Aaron's best throws, just plain remarkable
Love the throw to Lazard against the Lions on the sideline.. that’s my favorite Rodgers throw ever (Bengals fan)
You missed one jordy catch. But those where all top 10 too he’s too good😭 fire vid
number two is actually unreal
Me rewatching the cardinals Hail Mary for the millionth time: “GO FOR TWO!!!! 😭”
The Bears honorable mention is the best pass I've ever seen. And that's saying something considering I've watched Rodgers entire career. Idc if it didn't count.
Love rodgers and the packers
Its hard to argue with his pure talent as being top 3 and arguably number 1....
Easily the most talented QB to ever play the game, Mahomes is close but Rodgers still the talent GOAT
Simply Genius
Its all wrong....Rodgers to Williams going or fallimg backwards pin point accuracy in that small window at corner end zone is GOAT!!!!!!!!! Thats the #1 play of Rodgers and of all QBs of all times.
Nah it was the touchdown to Nelson right corner of the end zone vs Atlanta in the Superbowl year actually I think
The first two… Larry Fitzgerald really said “hold my beer”
Being a cowboy fan. Idk how the throw against us 31-31 less than 20 seconds left 3rd & forever and a trip to the NFC championship game on the line and he dots that thing 50 yards on a string rolling opposite to his throwing arm. Unbelievable. I’ve cried 2-3 times in my life as a sports fan. 2 were when I was a kid. The other was that game. I was 19 years old and completely soulless. Haven’t been the same since.
You don't know how what?
If someone made a vido of the 100 best throws in NFL history it would be majority Aaron
Maybe not a majority (50+) but he would likely have the most. Maybe like 25 of them or so. Along with Marino, Montana, and Manning.
@@isaiahayers1550 Favre would be up there too. He made a lot of bad decisions that worked out due to arm talent.
@@samuelsuggs9751 yeah, Favre definitely had a bunch of insane throws.

Growing up a cowboys fan. I hated Rodgers but he’s my favorite player to watch
It's so refreshing to see a top 10 Aaron Rodgers throws list that A) includes way more than 10 throws and B) doesn't include the hail Mary against the Lions
PRIDE AND GLORY THAT IS THE PACKERS STORY
Think you should remake this 🐐
That cardinals game will haunt me h til the day I die.
Arron really put us up there, now we are back to the bottom like the 80s
I made comment about a throw in that 2009 game, but that throw wasn’t ruled out of bounds. Maybe there was another one in that game that I missed.
