when’s he talk about it?
@@1121b when dead end hip hop interviewed el p he asked him about his verse on there
"Warriors" is the best directed movie I've ever watched that isn't about a damn thing
kinda like this song
I liked Oh Hail No a little better which was El-P, Danny Brown and Despot. God I wish Despot gave us a full release already 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Despot wasn't on Oh Hail No, Despot was on Tough Colder Killer with Killer Mike and El-P. Oh Hail No had Mr Mothafuckin Exquire.
@@GEORGETHOMAS2001 thats what I meant to say. Esquire. Then I doubled down and talked about a Despot album 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh and Danny Brown was on Tougher Colder too.......
Its been a long time since ive listened to C4C okay. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Enygma Enigmatic What? No he wasn’t. Danny Brown is only on Oh Hail No.
okay, now I know what song Myke C-Town was asking LP about in a DEHH interview, thank you man!
This video put me onto this sing a couple years ago now and I must agree its one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time. The el-p verse has finally put me onto run the jewels and because I've been bumpin this song a lot recently I though I'd come back here and drop a comment.
early appearance of el-p? he's been around longer than probably all of the dudes on it. Btw I listen to this track pretty often still. Despot should've dropped an album by now though
This is great! One of my favorite tracks
I will also offer up "Werner Herzog" by Busdriver featuring Open Mike Eagle and Nocando as a forgotten underground hip hop song we all seem to forget about
busdriver is consistently and overtly underappreciated everywhere
It’s interesting how El-P is finally getting, what he deserved for a long time, with Run The Jewels. He has made so, so much music since the mid 90’s. Here’s a little something most don’t know, the name El-P isn’t a reference to long play records, it’s from a brand of blunts you probably can’t find today called El Producto de Peru. Cheaper than Phillies or White Owls. That’s why he has called himself a dung beetle in various raps, because dung beetles just roll shit all day.
He is a rapper so his name means both things. It's wordplay
@@maryreinitz1622 Exactly
I saw this done live in NYC on El P and Killer Mike's first tour before they started RTJ. Danny Brown was the only one not there. One of the best shows I've ever seen.
i’ve been binging your videos recently and i just came across this one. i just want to say THANK YOU. i have loved this song and video since it came out and nobody ever knows it when i show it to them. i knew you were different bro 🤝
You can't look up Despots solo discography, because he doesn't have a solo discography
As soon as I seen El-P, I had nothing but confidence in it
El-P will always be El-P from Company Flow for me. Love RTJ but that one CF album got heavy play for years.
One of my favorite tracks and videos of all time since I saw it when it first came out.
I completly agree with most of what you've said here. Depsot does a couple verses in a song called "clipped on" by blood orange that was borderline great
"The next verse is by El-P,"
"Absolutely ridiculous, top notch lyrics."
Yeah, that checks out. 😆 👉🤛🏿
