As long as the harness plugs are taped up under the carpet, it should be as easy as this install was. If that isn’t the case you will need to tap the wire to a different power source. Likely running the wires up the b pillar and connecting to the courtesy over head lights that come on when the door is opened Should work.
So this kit is universal however before purchasing I would remove your factory door sills and see what you would be working with. Based on pictures, your sills look like a huge component and unfortunately I don’t think these will work for you.
After looking at the door jambs of a qx50 and seeing that they have a factory illuminated kick plate option. It might be possible that these will work. I would disassemble the lower plastic trim and look for the plug I showed in my video. If you don’t have a plug it would still be doable but would require you taping into a different power source.
@@Foxcraze awesome I might check it out this week to see if im lucky and that plug is there for easy click and play opposed to me going to crazy since I do have the Infiniti logo on the door when it opens haha would just be a cool touch !
No you don’t have to I just don’t like butt/joint connectors due to how bulky they are compared to a solder and heat shrink. You can do it that way though no problem, just heat shrink and or tape them up to makes sure nothing contacts metal.
3:36 this is like the most difficult part and it frustrates me so much that you didn’t actually show how its done. I can’t find anything else online about it either.
Are you talking about the removal of the kick panel? If so that’s super easy to remove and all the steps were explained by the 4 min mark minus visibly seeing me pulling on the trim with one hand. 🤷🏻♂️
I think the oem ones looked
Better but to each their own. Definitely a good idea If someone doesn’t have leds to begin with
I got them for free and will run them till they die and put my stocks back in!
Yeah man that’s badass!! Like that set up.
Appreciated it brother! They would look good in your whip too!
Nice one man, mine get here tomorrow!!
Sweet! the install is pretty fast when you aren’t trying to film it haha.
That’s really nice! your flyin brother! Really steppin up your game! 💪🏾💪🏾😎
Appreciate it!!
can these be installed easily if the q50 didn't come with illuminated sill plates originally?

On the Q50s that come without the factory lighted door sills, do any of you know of the cars come with the plug connectors ready for plug-in
Unsure but if you pop the doorsill and kick panel open it should be taped up just sitting there. Look for the zip tie.
Still looking for these plates but unsuccessful getting a response from Joe Win
Well done!
Thanks man!
Hi, where can i get this kit for 2006 fx35 ?

I’d assume this won’t work for me because I have a 2015 qx50 but my panels aren’t lit up

@@Foxcraze Do you interested in another LED product sponsorship?
I am, but I will need to email you tonight after work!
@@Foxcraze Sure sincerely looking forward to your update:)
Where can I get this that 🤦🏾♂️
The link to the sellers Facebook is in the video description, just reach out to him to place your order and tell him foxcraze sent you!
What year is your Q50
I have a 2014 premium, with the illuminated door sill package added on.
@@Foxcraze oh okay that makes sense because I got a 2019 sport but mines don’t have that package
Yeah it’s crazy how Inconsistent Infiniti is with these add on packages. This should be an automatic addition when getting the sport model!
Thank you so much.
No problem man!
Do you have to solder the wires?
