Loved it!!!...lm a northern minnesota boy and nothing gets the old ticker thumping better than a 10+ lb gator ripping in and smashing your decoy!

Love your video. I haven't speared in years, so I'm glad you younger guys are keeping it going. However: That first fish, wherein you pinned it to the bottom, and held it there. I've never seen anything like that in 50 years. Is that common practice outside of northern Minnesota? I'm not calling you out, just genuinely curious.

Nice pike! When bringing fish out of water I have a 3 ft gaff so don’t get off? They always come off if Guna when suck them outa water. Like you do we also let them fill lungs an gills with sand for 2-3 min if fish is large just takes the fight an struggle out of fish!

Heard you say you got one in the slot and one over and you can have another over the slot. That is incorrect. You must either have both over 26" or one in the slot and one over 26".

You misheard him- He said "one under the slot and one over the slot"
      Thanks for watching!

I used to use a live sucker8”-12”. They would always telegraph when a pike was approaching and I would be ready. Lots of fun!!! Much like hunting!!

I don’t understand so what happens when you are off on judging the size And you spear one that’s too big or too small do they really expect you to release killed or maimed fish? Just keep it off video and off the record? Blink once for yes and 2 for no 🤣
